This one might be a little longer to the other chapters, but no promises.

honestly, the orphanage was rarely quite. With so many people - most of which are children - living there, it's no surprise, but it makes you understand and enjoy the silent moments you can get and take. Joey and Kaiba, were not bothered by the noise since they both have younger siblings. Tristan and Tea were bothered, but they were fairly decent at hiding it. Yugi/Yami, well, they tolerated it, because they loved kids, but god were they loud. Yusei, was completely and totally not bothered by it, since he grew up here, surrounded by noise and so it had become background noise to him.
It was a quite moment, with the entire little team settled in the living room and relaxing against each other, when the building shakes. They all jump up, even Yusei despite his injury not being completely healed yet - it takes time, since he's from the future, where despite their immune systems and pain tolerance being higher and stronger, injuries had taken a hit since it was rare to get anything worse than a scrape or a concussion, and with such poor medical supplies, anything worse was usually considered life threatening and they simply made the patient comfortable.
Yusei was the only exception to this rule. The team raced towards the explosion, dodging the people racing the other way and find a wall was blown up. Just by looking over it, Yusei can tell it was not something any of the kids in the orphanage did, and he steps through the hole, carefully setting his feet in order to not trip. The others follow, knowing he has a better chance of knowing what's going on than they do.
"This is an attack, to draw us out of hiding, and get us to attack him. He wants you guys to be drawn into a trap, where he can kill all of you. He believes I am dead, which is for the best, so we need to keep my survival a complete secret until we can put our plan into action. Have you guys figured out the dueling style well enough to use it and defend yourselves with monsters?"
"Well enough, Yusei. If we must summon a monster, we can and we will, so do not bother yourself with us, the skill was not even all that hard to learn. Now, had much longer until you heal? The plan needs to be implemented soon if he's attacking little children."
"I believe the doctor said I only need another week. We can use that time preparing and getting everything set up for the plan. Is that ok?"
The little team nods and splits up, having already been assigned their part. Yusei goes back into the orphanage, along with Tea and Tristan, Yusei to rest and get better, the other two to guard him in case the enemy comes back to kill him. Yugi and Yami are going to find some kind of drawing utensil that's very large in quantity. Kaiba is to get several mirrors in order for this plan to completely work accurately. Joey is supposed to be with them, guarding Yusei from a different angle, just in case - since both Tristan and Tea were duelist, but they don't duel often, and thus could most likely be defeated pretty easily - but he had slept in late...again.
Yusei determined from description and such, that the jewels in the monsters he summons are what keep them in this world. However, all of the jewels tend to be dark in color and in presence, and he always blocks out the sky when he summons any sort of monster, so the light must have some kind of negative affect on his monsters of even on the jewels. They can't be completely sure until they battle him, but it seems like a better plan than nothing, so... and if all else fails, despite the fact that none of them really truly wish to completely destroy any of the monsters, they will directly strike the jewel and hope that works.
This had inspired the question of where monsters' spirits go, since it's fairly obvious they are real creatures and not just cards. Yusei and the group had ultimately agreed that they all went to their own kind of paradise, different for every type of monster as it is. However, they all agreed that their most faithful partners would be waiting, if they ever died or got erased, for the moment their human counterpart joined them. ( For those who don't understand or misunderstood, essentially if the faithful monster ( Yugi/Yami Dark magician, Yusei Stardust dragon, Joey Flame swordman, Kaiba Blue eyes white dragon, etc) is destroyed in some way, rather than going to their own paradise, they will wait until their human joins them and then go with their human spirit to wherever it will reside.
