I walked up the creepy stairs, heading to my bedroom. I hesitated at popping the question. the past me would have brushed it off, kept in my thoughts to rot. however.., I am better than the past me.

"bill.., would you lie to me?" I questioned, a look of sadness at my features. he turned from his path to his bedroom, looking confused. "what do you mean, (Y/n). of course, I would never lie to you~" he smiled. I clenched my fist. that didn't answer my questions. I stayed on the stairs, looking more serious than I had before. "you-know-but, ugh! h-have you ever done anything? anything bad?" I frowned, tugging on my shirt into a ball of my fist. he stared for a minute, but then replacing his look with a devilish one, coming closer to me, grabbing my elbow. he spoke in a seductive tone. " what do you ask of? "bad stuff"~" he whispered, sending a shiver down my spine.

I backed up, picking his hand from my skin. a part of me lingered for his touch, but not before I knew I was safe around him. I snaked my arm to his hand, grabbing his palm into mine. he grinned, getting a different intention from my actions. "well~, aren't you gready~?" he cooed, wrapping his arms around my neck, pulling me closer. my breath hitched, I softly pushed his chest away, creating space in between us. he seemed confused, and a little frustrated.

he backed up a bit, moving his arms to fall at his sides. "(y/n)..? what's the matter? why are you acting like your scared of me?" he asked, presenting to be hurt. he stepped closer, trying to confront me, to which I backed away, putting a hand in front of me to ensure space.

"bill..! have you ever... have you- killed someone? killed people?!" I shouted, my voice ending in a hushed squeak. he was severely taken aback. This time, he backed up from me. stepping off the stairs, his shoes made soft taps on the hard floors. I didn't mean to say it so abruptly, but in my defense, I wasn't really sure how to say it in the beginning.

he stood there, silent for a moment. "(y/n)...whats this coming from?" "Nothing!... I just-, can you please answer the question?" I stuttered out.

he breathed, straightening his back. "yes... I have." he said, looking nervous.
I didn't say anything, just stood in fear. I guess that answers my question of who was telling the truth. "so.., it is true..you killed-k-killed that whole dimension? your parents?? those....all those monsters and people.." I whisper shouted, tightening my fist. I was definitely sweating now. I didn't want him to leave, but I don't think he should stay... I just..dont know...

his eyes widened, gazing as his back hit the wall behind him from tripping. he seemed scared, the bill cipher I knew, was afraid? "-how did you know that?? who told you?!" he screamed, I flinched at his angry tone. I climbed further up the stairs, ready to run away. he had his eyebrows furrowed and a look of contemplation, his face faintly starting to turn red. "so-it is true? you did that? why.." I said, my words jumbling together.

"Who told you?!" he shouted, only now could I see his eyes turning a bright blue.

I almost stopped breathing, I wanted to go to bed. "I, I won't tell you that.." I answered, wringing my wrist and looking to the side. he saw how the anxiety rose in me, calming him down. he sighed, rubbing his temple with one hand. he held the rail, slowly walking up the steps to me. "look.., just let me explain.." he requested, holding his hand out to me. I hesitated, holding my hand back.

"i-i don't know,...I'm sorry bill, I just..cant." I declined. he was surprised, not expecting me to say no. I slowly looked at his face, trying to examine his facial expression. he was hurt, he looked damaged and bearing. he then stared down, refusing to face me.

"oh..bill.."
