Win's torturous 96-hour long shift finally ended. He stared at the picture on his phone and zoomed in the address part. He sighed as he sat down in his car to think for a while. Then a memory of his mother surfaced in his head. "Yepp, my mom always said that I should be truthful and never lie."
After making his decision, he typed in the address into his car GPS. However, he noticed that the address was very similar because it was his home address! "Wait, this punk lives in the same condo as mine?" Win spoke to himself. Either way, he still has to drive home so he took off.
As he got onto the elevator, he unconsciously clicked 13 which was the floor he lived on only to realize he was going to Bright, not his house. When he checked his phone again, no one in the world would've imagined Bright lived on the 13th floor too. The apartment number was 1304 which was on the right end of the corridor, the opposite of his.
However, when he got there, he couldn't press the doorbell until he heard someone's voice. "Excuse me," said a voice. Win turned around only to find Bright looking at him weirdly. "I am not a thief," he immediately blurted out.
"I know," Bright chuckled, "I met you at the hospital, you're a doctor."
"You met me before?" Win wondered and suddenly memories flashed back. Bright was the guy at the vending machine. "Pepsi?"
"No, I'm Bright actually. How did you find me?" Bright asked.
"Yes of course, Bright... sorry. So, yeah... I... uh... you... know..." Win just couldn't the right words to say.
"If you have nothing to say, I am going inside." Bright punched in the passcode but Win quickly stopped him.
"Youarebeingframed! Isawtherecords! Yourtestresultscamebacknegative. Youdidn'tdodrugsandIhaveproof. Youdon'thavetleavetheteam." Win rapped.
Bright's face changed a bit but not a lot. He wasn't the biggest fan of facial expressions although he was very surprised that this stranger just showed up at his doorstep claiming that he can help him.
"No, thanks."
"Wait... what? NO THANKS?" Win slammed the door Bright was about to open. "You made me come all the way here... though I technically live here... BUT, I had to risk my career to serve justice for YOU and all you can is no thanks? Bright Vachirawit Chivaaree, I am trying to help you because what happened to you was unfair. I had to secretly take a picture of your case file in case we don't have evidence and you-" before he could finish, Bright cuts him off.
"First of all, it's already creepy enough for a stranger to show up on my doorstep. And he is claiming he can save me BY stealing my medical records, knowing my exact address, and my full name. I don't need your help. And just for your information, I never asked you to risk your career for me," he then went inside his apartment and shut the door in Win's face.
"Hmph! No wonder you get kicked out, you know! With that temper of yours, you are no way a team player!" Win yelled in anger and stormed off into his apartment.
"I don't understand! I was trying to help, alright? Even though he was a complete stranger to me, I wanted to help because I am nice, kind, and handsome. Pfft, if he doesn't need my help then whatever." Win kept mumbling to himself.

Although Win tried not to think about it, his mind would just keep replaying what Bright said to him earlier. After showering, he laid on his bed and stared at the ceiling for a few minutes only coming to the conclusion he should at least talk to that punk one more time. But he knew he had come up with a reasonable explanation of why he needs to talk to him again. Then something came up in his head.
He grabbed his phone and headed to Bright's apartment again. When he got there, he pressed the doorbell a few times but there was no answer. He quickly punched in the passcode that he saw earlier. "Bright!" he called out. "Ay, Bright!"
"BRIGHT!" Win yelled as soon as he saw Bright lying on the floor. "Hia! Bright, can you hear me? He's not responding."
A trained doctor, Win quickly dials 911 and the ambulances arrived faster than he thought. "How are you related to the patient?" The EMT asked.
"I... I am his friend." Win responded. "You guys are going to Bumrungrad Hospital, right? I work there, can I get on the ambulance?" he asked.
"Yes, of course," the EMT nodded.
***
"Bright!!!!!!!" the nurses yelled as soon as the EMTs transported Bright into the ER. A doctor on-duty quickly examines an unconscious Bright, "It's appendicitis. Page a GS to the OR, STAT." the doctor said, "I'm going to need a guardian to sign the form."
"This doctor claimed to be his friend," the EMT responded. The head nurse, Jennie then turned her head to Win with her eyebrows raised.
"U-uh, yes. I am his friend, I can sign it. Is it that way?" Win then quickly escaped from the head nurse.
After signing, Win was about to go check on Bright until he was stopped by a group of nurses. "Stop right there, Dr. Metawin," the head nurse said.
"P'Jennie," Win chuckled.
"I thought you didn't know Bright," she asked.
"I never said I don't know him," Win answered back.
"Then how did you guys know each other?"
"His sister is my friend."
"He doesn't have a sister."
"Ai-shia... I mean my sister is his friend," Win corrected.
The head nurse looked at him suspiciously but then suddenly started blinking her eyes and made an i-have-a-favor smile. "Win, since you are already calling me P'Jennie, we're close, right?" she asked.
"Y-yes?" Win awkwardly answered.
"Is N'Bright dating anyone? What does he like to eat? What's his favorite color? What's his hobby? What-" before the head nurse could continue, Win stopped.
"P', I should really check on him. His safety is first, right? I promise I will investigate everything about him and tell you guys later," Win then quickly ran away.

I know I already said this but I haven't done any editing. I just wrote whatever came to my mind. Please don't mind if the medical terms don't make sense, I just like to use them. I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter!
