Max: are you sure The Phantom is even real?
Chloe: oh he's real and he'll show...unless he's out crime fighting again, kicking people's ass, or...something...
You walk past some brick structure that's by the train tracks as you begin to see Max and Chloe who are talking to eachother while waiting for you. You walk towards them as you check your surrounding to make sure there's no ambush for you and your new "friends". They notice you walking up and Max just stares in disbelief.
You: hi guys
Chloe: Hey Phantom, how've ya been bro?
Max: no way...you're actually-
You: what? real? Yea, your honestly the first to think I'm a myth
Max: oh really..? I'm so sorry, I wasn't trying to be rude...
You: it's fine, I get all sorts of reactions from people when they see me. The most common one is running away like I'M going to hurt them or something.
Chloe sits on the hood of a rusted car as Max offers a handshake.
Max: Hi, I'm Max Caulfield
You: Hello Max, it's nice to meet you
You shook hands with Max then Chloe pipes up.
Chloe: you wanna go to Blackwell with us tonight?
You: why?
Max: a friend of ours is missing and were trying to figure out what happened to her
You: when did she go missing?
Chloe: 6 months ago...
Your heart stopped as a shock ran threw your body but you kept your composure.
You: Ok, tell me about this friend of yours. I'll do what I can to find her but you must stay out of trouble
Max: She has brown hair and her eyes wer-
You: what's her name?
Max looks at Chloe as Chloe crosses her arms and looks towards her feet. You and Max exchange a look before you go and sit next to her. She looks at you and you rub her back gently.
You: don't worry Chloe...well find your friend, I promise
Chloe: thank you...
Chloe hugs you and you freeze up. You eventually hug back with one arm and look to Max who just shrugs. You begin trying to comfort Chloe.
You: I'll go to Blackwell with you but were only going for clues, no stealing or anything like that. Got it?
They both nod as Chloe lets you go. You get up from the car and Chloe goes towards her truck.
Chloe: c'mon guys, let's go find Rachel
You felt your heart skip a beat again.
You:(they're looking for Rachel, I still gotta keep my identity secret to keep them from becoming targets)
Max and Chloe get in the truck as you climb into the bed of the truck. Chloe looks back at you.
Chloe: WE'VE GOT ROOM FOR ONE MORE!!!
You shake your head so Chloe just shrugs to Max and starts the truck. It was a decent drive, nice cold breeze and a quiet, peaceful night. You smiled and relaxed threw the entire drive until you felt the truck stop. You open your eyes and look around to find yourself at the parking lot of Blackwell Academy. You jump out of the bed of the truck and begin walking as Chloe and Max followed close behind. Chloe walks past you to the front door as you make sure the coast is clear. You all then enter the building after Chloe unlocks the door with some keys.
