Chapter 14: Framed

After Tyson briefed everyone earlier today, he gave us identical outfits that Sawyer's crew wore which was just all black attire and a black ski mask

We were gonna rob those stores as planned but I'm gonna be driver so I won't actually be doing any of the robberies

Ryder suggested it so that if this backfired on us that I'd only be charged with accessory but we'll just have to make sure not to get caught

I finished gearing up and met up with the others

I still didn't like the fact that we were about to frame an innocent man and probably end up putting him in jail for the rest of his life but who knows when the next time will be that this guy tells my Dad about another one of our meeting spots

"You ready for this?" Ryder walked up to me and asked

I sighed
"This better work otherwise we've got nothing"

"Hey don't worry kid, I'm not gonna let anything happen to you, I promise and that's why I suggested to Tyson that you be the driver, it's safer that way." Ryder had assured me 

"Do you feel guilty or have second thoughts about what we're doing?" I carefully asked 

Ryder was silent before answering

"Look, I'm not too happy about setting this guy up either but I'm sure that we can all agree that this Sawyer guy is gonna end up telling your Dad exactly who we are once he figures out who we are so we gotta do this thing" 

I nodded 

I was pretty sure that Mia and Tyson had no problem and didn't even care about framing an innocent man because it was like I like, at the end of the day, everyone in this crew is out for themselves and if it came down to it, we would all betray each other in order to survive 

It was time to head out, we used a large black van big enough to fit all of us instead of going in our own rides

The plan was simple, I would be driving us to a local convenience store, Tyson wanted Akira and Ryder to be the ones that did the robbery and for Mia to call 911 and get the cops here as soon as we were done. We were all handed guns but hopefully we didn't need to use them, we were only going to use them to scare people there, We needed to recreated one of Sawyer's robberies successfully if this was gonna work but of course Sawyer might have a solid alibi if he's questioned by my Dad but it will draw suspicion towards him. 

Tyson also intended to plant evidence if something went wrong
