Chapter 5: No more lies

The whole crowd gasped and stared in shock at Tyson Cain standing here

Just the mention of his name was enough to make people tremble in fear, he was a legend on the streets of Miami and someone you didn't want to cross

Akira took a step back even, he just lost the race and probably thought twice before he did something stupid, no surprise that Tyson is here, nothing happens in the streets that Tyson wouldn't know about

I saw Mia most likely explaining to Nadia and Phoenix on who Tyson was and I've got a lot of explaining to do to Nadia

Tyson fixes his glasses and started walking over to where the three of us were

"Boss" Ryder acknowledged Tyson respectfully

I nodded at Tyson while Akira just glared at him, obviously he wasn't letting go of his grudge

"So I hear you boys had yourselves a little race tonight"

"We did" Ryder said

Tyson looked over to me and I gulped, of course I was nervous as hell

"Congratulations on your win, kid"

"Thanks, boss" Tyson nodded back at me

He finally turned his attention to Akira who had his arms crossed

"Still holding a petty grudge, I see"

"Petty? You're joking right? You know as well as I do that I deserve a spot on your crew, you can call me a cheater if you want but I still beat your golden boy, Ryder and I would've beaten him again if he hadn't tricked me into agreeing to let Chris race too" Akira said angrily

"And you lost the race, you came in last which you means you're not joining the crew" Ryder got up in Akira's face

"That's it!" Akira balled up his fist and was about to punch Ryder until Tyson stepped in the middle before things got out of hand

"Alright, enough, both of you!"

There's always been bad blood between them, they could implode at anytime here especially with their hot tempers

"Let's discuss this back at the garage, this isn't the time or the place"

"Whatever, guess I'll see you there" Akira immediately got back on his partially damaged motorcycle and sped off

"Fine, let's go" Ryder nodded towards me

I looked over to Nadia, who was standing next to Mia and Phoenix, I still needed to explain everything to her and I couldn't put it off any longer

"Look I'll meet you there later, I gotta have a talk with Nadia"

Ryder looked over to Nadia and nodded

"Alright, I get it, catch you later Tennyson" Ryder said before hopping into his car and speeding off

I sighed

Let's get this over with

I walked over to Nadia

I was glad that Chris was okay, we all heard gunshots in the middle of the race, no doubt it was Akira trying to sabotage my brother and Ryder
