Chapter: N I N E
“Just because you date a ball player doesn't mean he’ll wanna marry you, be faithful, or treat you right...” –Tavi
I walked into the warehouse building and saw numbers of people running around the photo shoot set. There were two big lights facing the all white background and a big camera stand in front of it.
I looked around from where I was standing trying to search for Morris. When I spotted him standing next to the guy with a camera around his neck, I quickly made my way towards him.
Before I could say something he turned around with the biggest smile on his face, “Hey, it’s the beauty of the hour,”
I blushed at his compliment, “How are you?”
“I’m fine,” He cheesed, “Are you ready to get started?”
I nodded, “Of course,”
Morris signaled me to follow him while all the others got ready for the photo shoot. He walked me to a back room that had the label dressing room on it. He opened the door and there were two girls standing around talking. The room had a nice all white vanity and loads of make-up sitting on top of it, clothing rack with different outfits hung up and a small all white sofa in the back of the room.
“Ladies,” Morris spoke grabbing the girl’s attention, “This is Tavi the model today. I want you to get her comfortable and then bring her out when she’s ready,” The girls nodded and then he turned his attention towards me, “We’re gonna take a few shots of you without make-up or your hair done and then we’ll take some with make-up and wardrobe, okay?”
I smiled and nodded, “Okay,”
“Take care of her,” Morris ordered before walking out of the room and closing the door behind him.
“Okay Tavi? Am I right?” the first girl asked making sure she had my name right. I nodded my head, conforming that she was correct, “Okay so we’ll just be putting your hair into a simple pony-tail and you’ll just wear a black shirt,”
“Okay,” I replied walking over to the vanity and taking a seat in the chair. The first girl placed my hair into a low pony-tail while the second girl handed me my shirt.
“Now we’ll leave so you can change and just come out whenever you’re ready,” The first girl instructed while closing the door.
I hurriedly took off my clothes and changed into the long sleeve black shirt. I looked at myself one last time in the mirror before leaving out of the dressing room and walking down the hall. I approached the set and Morris started to walk my way.
