Amy's POV

It must've been three in the morning that I was woken by a shrill, girlish scream coming from another room. Never once since I had started travelling with The Doctor had I ever ignored something that woke me up. So I stumbled out of bed and out of my room, until I found the source of the noise: The Doctor's room. Go figure.

"Doctor?" I mumbled, entering his room and seeing his bathroom light on.

"Amy, something's wrong," The Doctor shook his head, staring at the toilet. The water was stained crimson.

"Oh, I would have to agree," I cringed, "What happened?"

"I got up to use the bathroom and then there was this," he looked genuinely frightened.

"Well, I can assure you, it's nothing new," I murmured.

"Amy, how long have you had this?" he demanded.

"Since I was thirteen, why?" I smirked. He still didn't get it.

"This is bad. I'm going to have to give your body a scan to see what's wrong. Something's wrong."

"No, something's definitely right," I sighed.

"What are you talking about?" he asked.

"Doctor, you don't have some sort of disease. You're not internally bleeding or anything," I shook my head.

"There's a lot of blood," he covered his face.

"Doctor, you're on your period," I stated.

"What, like, menstruation?"

"Yes. Now I'm going to tell you what most girls get told. Congratulations on becoming a woman. Here's a pad, now shut up and go to bed," I handed him the pad and exited the room, passing Rory on the way out.

"Everything okay?" he asked.

"The Doctor just got his period, so yeah, everything's okay," I patted him on the shoulder. He gulped and left the room. Finally I can go back to bed.

The next morning I woke up with a problem. Let's put it this way, it was a problem I had no idea how to handle and the problem was with his "hardly-used" parts. It felt unbearable and I soon realized the only way I could make it go away was to take a shower.

So I got up and tried not to look in the mirror as I walked by. I did not need to see The Doctor with a...problem. Being a guy sucked. Without looking, I removed his clothes from my body and got in the shower. And I'll put it like this: you try to shower without looking at your naked body. It doesn't work.

Unfortunately, while I was washing I had no choice but to look. And it wasn't pleasant. Let's just say that after this week is up, I will never see The Doctor the same again. So as fast as I could, I finished up and luckily everything was back to normal. I wrapped a towel around myself and walked out to his closet to get dressed. I wasn't gonna ask for his help getting dressed. I didn't need help! After seeing him everyday, I quickly got used to his way of dressing. So I got a pair of black slacks, a button-up shirt and a bow tie along with one of his tweed jackets.

That was when I realized I had no idea how to tie a bow tie. And he didn't have the clip-on kind. There was no way I was going to leave this room without a bow tie. The Doctor was on his period and I had no intention of making him angry.

So I did the best I could and tried to tie the thing. Then I left for Rory and I's room.

"Doctor - uh, Amy, I mean. What are you doing here?" Rory turned to look at me.

"I don't know how to shave. Can you..."

"Uh, sure. No problem," we went back to the bathroom in The Doctor's room and Rory helped me shave.

"Thanks so much!" I sighed once he was done.

"No problem, Amy," he smiled, "The Doctor's still not up."

"Nope. I don't blame him. He'll be sore for a little while," I frowned.

"Nice work on the bow tie," he smirked.

"Hey, I tried! It's not easy," I defended.

"Wanna make some breakfast?" he asked.

"Sure," I smiled. So we went to the kitchen and had our breakfast.

"Ugh. I still can't get over how strange it is, seeing you in the body of The Doctor," he said, while we were cleaning up.

"I know. Can you imagine how I feel? I had to see way more of The Doctor than I wanted to," I shuddered.

"I truly am sorry," he cringed and I laughed,

"I'm just glad that I'm not the one on my period."

That was when we looked over just in time to see The Doctor stumbling out of my room, my ginger hair tangled and hanging in his face and he was wearing sweats and a baggy sweatshirt.

"Doctor, what happened?" Rory looked really concerned. I couldn't help but laugh.

"Pond! Amy. She caused this!" he spat.

"I'm sorry, Doctor. Would you like some chocolate ice cream?" my voice wavered as I held back a laugh.

"You think this is funny, Pond?" he growled.

"So no ice cream, then?" I asked innocently.

"I want the ice cream," he glared at me and Rory burst out laughing.

"What? He's all 'I want the ice cream.' It's hilarious!" Rory laughed. I smiled a little.

"I don't need this. I'm going back to bed," he turned around and stomped back to my room. I turned to Rory and we laughed once The Doctor was out of earshot.
