Sharp breaths and wrapped fists against gloves could be heard in the school's dojo as the boys and girls of the MCSC trained in pairs, the coach walking through the them with his hands behind his back and his constant scowl on his droopy features.

Jungkook was currently with one of the few girls in the club, Haseun, who was moving at rapid speed although he managed to touch the the target of her gloves with his hands every time, the rhythmic beat matching all the other pairs around him.

She swiped her hand in front of him, and he ducked in time for her arm to graze the strands of his damp hair.

"Yah, did you see Park Jimin today?" She asked with a small smirk as she continued to move her hands in different direction for him to hit, occasionally going for a hit to the head for him to duck.

Jungkook didn't answer, staying concentrated on the jabs he was delivering and regulating his breathing.

"Ha, I did." Yanong, another girl that was teamed with Hanseol, said. "He had chocolate milk all over his cardigan and it reeked when i passed him in the hallway."

The group snickered, weary of the coach, but he just walked out of the room after another teacher had called him out.

The coach was constantly being reprimanded by the school's staff because of the violent behavior his pupils displayed, though some of their parents were very high in the school organisation, creating a powerful lobby defending the club.

"Yeah Leemin and i emptied a carton on him at lunch because he tried to stop us from cutting the line. I swear that kid's asking to get his ass handed to him." Hanseol laughed, taking advantage of the coach's absence to straighten up from his guard and take a break.

"You shouldn't say it like that." Yanong laughed. "He's gay remember."

"Ew." Hanseol laughed as he mimicked a shudder going through his spine.

"Can you shut up and get back to practice." Jungkook said as he glared at them, also breaking his guard to face Hanseol.

The two looked at him with surprised eyes, before Yanong's thin lips spread into a mocking grin.

"Yah, Jungkook-oppa, are you defending him right now?" She asked, taking a step closer to him as she held his cold gaze.

Jungkook panicked. He'd let the words slip past his lips because he was fed up of hearing the constant chatter and because hearing such things being said about his classmate who was essentially a human being with feelings and aspirations who just wanted to make it through another day of existence didn't sit right with him.

What did Jimin ever done to deserve such hardships?

He was patient, never broke his facade, had good grades and let others exploit him for his hard work. If anything, he was one of the most respectable people Jungkook knew.

No even knew if Jimin was actually gay because he never spoke, but he'd never denied it either. And even if he was, he wasn't the only one. Some other kids were openly gay and no one seemed to mind. He was pretty sure Seokjin and Hoseok had kissed or held hands on school grounds before, yet no one ever teased them about it.

Hanseol wrapped a hand around Yanong, his face matching hers as he looked up to Jungkook with a questioning gaze.

"What are you talking about Yanong-ah. Jungkook would never defend a faggot, right?"

"Unless he is one himself." Haseun, the girl who Jungkook had been up against said with a dark stare.

By the time she'd finished her words, the rest of the MCSC had stopped training and was know looking at them.

Jungkook glared at her, seeing the same look his father always held in her eyes. Need to feel superior by pushing others down, thirst for violence and conflict.

His hand flew up, long finger wrapping around her thin neck before anyone had the time to register what was happening.

Haseun only had the time to gasp before her airways were completely blocked by his hand that was squeezing into her flesh despite her own clawing at his wrist to pry it off.

"Everyone's been quite disrespectful lately. Are you doubting me? Should i remind you why I was chosen as captain?" He asked, purposely in dialect which always made him sound like a gang member from an old korean show.

Haseun gasped for air as he glared straight through her glossy eyes, Yanong and Hanseol looking at him with wide eyes, hesitant to make a move in fear it would just make matters worse.

He took a step forward, a nervous smile on his slips as he took a sharp breath to speak, extending his hand out to try and catch Jungkook's arm but dragged it back when the captain tilted his head to send a glare his way.

Seeing everyone's eyes on him, those scared eyes he resented so much, Jungkook let the girl fall harshly on her knees, her hands wrapping around her sore throat as she coughed roughly.

"I don't give a fuck about what you do outside of this club, but practice is practice. I don't want anyone to gossip around." He turned to Haseun, wiping his bandaged fist over his mouth. "Now get up bitch, practice isn't over."
