She pulled out her phone and sent a quick text to Felix to grab Chan and come to the hall. Hyunjin was getting heavier by the second and she knew he was going down. Felix got there first, with Chan and Amy trailing close behind. Felix saw Isa struggling to hold Hyunjin up. He towered over her, so it was sort of funny to see. He couldn't help snickering. "Ha-ha... come get him, would you please?" she scolded. Felix smiled and looped his arms around Hyunjin's chest, catching him under his arms and helping him to the floor. He and Chan talked for a minute and they decided that Felix would take Hyunjin home and come back. Chan hated the idea of leaving the girls alone in the club, and Felix tended to agree with that. The whole group was there, but nobody watched after them the way Chan and Felix did.
Isa didn't tell Felix what Hyunjin had said, but just let him know he was way too drunk to drive. He'd get Hyunjin home, then they had to deal with Maria, who was also drunk. It was going to be a long night.
---
Felix got Hyunjin home and flopped him into the bed. He pulled off the now sleeping man's shoes and thought ahead enough to put an empty trashcan next to the bed. He left a note on the nightstand so Hyunjin would have some idea what the hell happened when he woke up in a different place than he passed out and that they had taken care of Maria.
Back at the club, Maria was getting pissed because she couldn't find Hyunjin. Amy tried to explain what had happened, but all she saw was that Hyunjin had walked off with Isa and now she couldn't find him. It got tense until Minho finally got her to take a seat. Once Felix got back, he and Minho talked her down from killing Isa and explained that Hyunjin was upset and Isa was a good friend. They were talking, and Hyunjin passed out, then Felix took him home. That's all. She knew both Felix and Minho from the studio, so it was a little more believable coming from them. She was still frustrated that he hadn't talked to her. Minho piped up then, "Maria, you're not exactly sober either. He was trashed. He didn't even know Felix and Chan picked him up." She finally calmed down and started to wonder how she was going to get home. Minho and Jisung volunteered to drop her off. At that point, the whole group decided it was just time to go.
Seungmin and Leo had managed to avoid a lot of the drama because they were just dancing and talking, getting to know each other. Chan found them to let them know everyone was leaving. They thanked him then decided they'd go somewhere a little quieter. They found a small place, a nice little bar that would serve as a great place for them to just talk.
Seungmin slid into the booth and Leo slid in on the same side. Seungmin felt the heat in his ears. He knew his cheeks were going to get pink and give away his nerves. Leo made him nervous. He was quite a bit taller than Seungmin and very well built. His hair was brown with highlights and brushed back but regularly fell into his eyes. Seungmin thought the way he dragged his fingers through it was sexy. He was surprised at how much he actually liked Leo. He had figured it would be a lot harder to feel interested in anyone.
Leo teased him a bit as he tapped Seungmin's chin, "You don't date much, do you?"
Seungmin blushed and shook his head. "Not in a while. A year, maybe?"
Leo looked genuinely shocked. "A YEAR?" he asked, incredulously. "How did somebody as cute as you stay off the grid for a year?" Leo asked, genuinely curious, but still managing to get in a teasing prod.
Seungmin's cheeks reddened further as he just shrugged and explained in half-truths, "I wasn't really looking for anything. I needed to take some time away from dating to figure out what I wanted."
"Do you have that figured out yet?" Leo asked, gazing at Seungmin and taking in his features.
Seungmin laughed softly and shook his head. "Not even close. I know what I don't want, though," he whispered.
"And what is it you know you don't want?" Leo asked, reaching over to draw his finger along Seungmin's hair, just behind his ear.
Seungmin swallowed hard, dropping his eyes to keep from looking at Leo's lips or his eyes that were currently setting Seungmin on fire. "I don't want to be the consolation prize because nothing else works out," he answered softly. He felt his eyes stinging and blinked quickly to try to clear the tears that were threatening his composure.
Leo leaned close to him and whispered, "Anyone who would treat you as a consolation prize doesn't deserve you." Seungmin raised his head in surprise, his eyes threatening to undo him. Leo met his eyes and closed in on him, kissing Seungmin softly. Seungmin was surprised at the sudden contact, but more so by how much he enjoyed it. When Leo finally pulled back, since Seungmin had no intention of doing so (or anywhere to back up to), he rested his brow against Seungmin's and sighed softly. "I've wanted to do that for a very long time," he finally said. He had gotten Seungmin's number months ago and had chatted with him occasionally, but really got to know a little more about him by becoming a regular at the restaurant where Seungmin worked as a host and bartender. Leo had the schedule down and was always there on nights that Seungmin tended bar. He didn't bother to slow down his own dating schedule, but there was never anyone that interested him more than Seungmin. He knew he wanted to spend more time with the gorgeous bartender.
"I need to go slow, Leo," he whispered. Leo nodded. He understood that something had caused a lot of fear for Seungmin and he didn't want to increase that fear or make him think he was a passing interest.
Seungmin had seen Leo come in with other men, though it had been a while. Still, he didn't want to be a number in Leo's phone, reserved for emergencies. He didn't want to find out that Leo was dating him and four other guys at once. He just, for once, wanted to be the center of attention. He decided he would move slowly to make sure it happened the way he needed it to.
Leo smiled and pecked his lips gently. He answered kindly, "As slow as you need to. I'm not interested in anyone else, Seungmin. I'm not telling you I don't want you to see anyone else, but I am telling you that I'm not seeing anyone but you."
Seungmin nodded in understanding. He answered quietly, "I'm not either, Leo."
"Then we've got all the time in the world," Leo responded with a grin. "It's getting late though, and I do have to work in the morning, so I should get some sleep at some point tonight. Shall we go?"
