Seungmin gasped at the sudden contact, causing Hyunjin to pull back. "I-I'm sorry," Hyunjin whispered. Seungmin replied by bridging the distance and kissing him again. Their tongues danced gently, exploring the taste of each other. It was more amazing than Seungmin thought it would be. The electricity flowing through his body caused his heart to race. Hyunjin slipped his hand up to the back of Seungmin's head, caressing and feathering his fingers through Seungmin's hair. He pushed forward, rolling Seungmin onto his back and shifted his own weight to lay on top of him. His mind was racing as quickly as his heart. He deepened the kiss, first nibbling at Seungmin's lower lip then driving his tongue back in to explore the mouth he had been craving for so long. Seungmin's hands wandered over Hyunjin's back, his fingers finding their way into the damp mess of Hyunjin's hair. When they broke for air, Seungmin was the one to back away, though he didn't want to. He knew his body was on fire and because he was holding Hyunjin so tightly, he knew his was as well. They couldn't start like this. He knew they needed to pace themselves. He cupped Hyunjin's face in his hand and whispered, "You don't know how long I've wished for this."
For the first time in such a long time, Hyunjin was totally comfortable with the intimacy he was sharing with another person. Seungmin was his person. The one that had him, mind, body, and soul. He didn't care what it meant anymore. He only cared that he had Seungmin and he wasn't going to let go. He'd never felt his body burn like it was at that moment. He just wanted to be closer, so he kissed Seungmin again, deeper, hungrier. He whimpered softly when Seungmin pressed his hand against his chest to put some space between them. "Jinnie... we've got time. I'm not leaving," he whispered.
Hyunjin nodded quietly and answered softly, "I love you, Minnie." Saying the words caused his heart to pound and he felt his eyes start to sting again.
Seungmin pulled Hyunjin back to his chest, kissed his forehead, like he's done hundreds of times, and quietly responded, "I love you, too, Jinnie." Hyunjin shifted again, his body beside Seungmin, turning his face into Seungmin's chest and inhaling his scent. Seungmin kept him wrapped up as tightly as he could. He turned on his side again, to pull Hyunjin closer. Any distance seemed to be too much. He stroked his fingers through Hyunjin's damp hair, sliding his fingers along the edge of Hyunjin's ear as he tucked the loose crazy hairs back. He sighed deeply, his breath stuttering from the excitement and arousal, as well as just the fear of what happens now. Before long, he felt the heavy pressure of Hyunjin leaning into him. He could feel Hyunjin's heartbeat slowing, becoming more regular, as well as his breathing. This was what he had wished and cried for, for the last year. As Hyunjin slept peacefully curled against him, his eyes brimmed with happy tears. He laid his head forward, Hyunjin's hair tickling his nose a bit, but Seungmin needed his scent. He inhaled deeply and closed his eyes.

Hyunjin woke before Seungmin and had to take a few minutes to think over the previous night. His dreams were so vivid that he wasn't sure what he remembered had really happened. It wasn't unusual to wake up, curled into Seungmin after a bad night. He felt so peaceful that he hoped it was real. Hyunjin watched Seungmin as he slept, his face calm and relaxed, with a slight grin tugging at his lips. He decided not to wake the sleeping beauty if he could help it. Hyunjin rolled over to slip out of the bed, but Seungmin reached for him and pulled him back. "Good morning, baby," Seungmin whispered in his gruff morning voice. Hyunjin hesitated for a second then smiled brightly.
"Good morning, Minnie," he whispered as he curled back against Seungmin's chest.
"How are you feeling?" Seungmin asked, the worry evident on his face. Hyunjin knew it got bad last night, but he never really remembered how bad. "I've never seen you so scared. You had me worried," Seungmin whispered as he kissed Hyunjin's forehead.
Hyunjin tried to recall what had happened but what he thought he remembered didn't make sense. "Monsters?" he asked, "Was I screaming about monsters?"
Seungmin shook his head. "You didn't say anything about that, but you were watching every corner like something was coming to get you. Maybe that's what you thought you saw. That wasn't your first one this week, was it?"
Hyunjin looked up to him, batting his lashes to stay out of trouble. "It wasn't even my first one last night," he squeaked.
Seungmin just sighed and hugged him tight. "Why didn't you call me?"
"Leo," Hyunjin pouted. "You had Leo, and he didn't like me. I didn't want to ruin it for you."
"You didn't. He did," Seungmin assured him. He thought for a second before deciding to explain it. "He kept pushing for sex. I told him I wasn't ready, and he just kept on pushing. Last night, he got really angry about it, blamed it on you, and stormed off. Then he tried to come and make up to me. I was upset because I missed you, because I wanted to be curled up to you, not him. He thought it was all about him. I guess he was pretty pissed when he figured out it wasn't," Seungmin finished with a chuckle.
Hyunjin laughed softly then realization sunk in. "You didn't sleep with him?"
Seungmin grinned, "Nope. Not that he didn't freaking try! I just, didn't want it. I thought it would get better, but the more time I spent with him, the more I missed you," he finished in a whisper.
"Why didn't you ever tell me?" Hyunjin asked, drawing designs on Seungmin's chest.
"You weren't ready to hear it. You didn't want it to be true, so I wouldn't put it into words," Seungmin answered calmly.
Hyunjin hummed in response, feeling guilty for making it so hard on Seungmin. Suddenly, Seungmin patted his back and made a suggestion. "Let's get dressed and go get some breakfast. We haven't done that in ages!"
Hyunjin smiled happily and agreed to the idea. They dressed and realized they needed to go up so Seungmin could find some of his own clothes. Hyunjin was a size smaller than Seungmin, but his legs went on for miles, so Seungmin couldn't get away with wearing anything but his sweats. After Seungmin finished getting dressed, they headed out to the café by their building.
