Chapter 12: Final Practice

Taemin and I get ready to practice. I tie my hair up and I walk into the practice room. I open the door and everyone smiles.

"Are you ready for your practice together?!" Hwang says really excited.

"I am, I don't know about (Y/n)." Taemin says rubbing my head.

"(Y/n)'a ready, I can tell." Hyuna says winking at me. I smile at her.

"Alright! Let's get started!!!" Hwang exclaims going to the tablet to start the song.

I get into position and so does Taemin. I instantly feel shy and Hyuna can see that.

"Like yesterday (Y/n)! Nothing changed! Just like yesterday!" She shouts over the music.

I try to get back into my confident left from yesterday and it works. We start dancing and Hwang shouts, "We can't hear you!"

I start singing louder as we dance and Taemin looks shocked as we dance together. But I can tell he is enjoying this. I've noticed he is a bit of a pervert in some ways.

Once the song ends we go for the final kiss but then we both put our hands on our mouths.

"What the heck?!" Hwang shouts, "Why didn't you kiss?!" I look at Hwang and am shocked by his sudden outburst he looks at Hyuna, "I think for the actual music video they should kiss."

"I think so too, that would have a better impact. And you both get to makeout." Hyuna says winking.

I look away embarrassed and Taemin laughs, "Sure, I'll do it, I would never miss a chance to kiss you (Y/n)."

I look at him and sigh, "Fine then."

"(Y/n), be more confident, you were perfect yesterday, what happened?" Hyuna asks putting her hand on my shoulder, "Did you not sleep well?"

"You didn't sleep well?!" Taemin exclaims turning me to face him.

"No, no, I sleep well, but I don't know Hyuna. I think I'm just nervous." I say looking back at her.

"Yes, I understand. There's more people in the room." She looks at Hwang, "Why are you even here?"

"Rain asked me to make final checks." He says shrugging his shoulders.

"(Y/n), you know your practice yesterday was filmed right?" Hyuna says concern filling her eyes.

"What? No, I did not!" I exclaim.

"It's for the show." She says sighing.

"It's fine."

"So, millions of people have seen you dance, there's nothing to be afraid of two more." She says smiling.

"You're right." I say smiling, "It's just two more people."

"Exactly!" She exclaims, "From the top!" She says pointing to the ceiling. "Practice the kiss this time!"

The music starts and Taemin starts clicking. I stand next to him but a little bit behind and start to click too.

We start to dance and Hyuna is screaming with happiness to see that I am really expressing my 'sexyness'. Hyuna can see I get really uncomfortable when Taemin puts his hand literally on my butt. She smiles at me right after, I'm guessing I hid it?

We go through the rest of the dance, I'm signing as best as I can while trying to concentrate on dancing too. Just before the song ends, Taemin and I kiss. Hyuna and Hwang start screaming a clapping, "That was perfect!" Hyuna says, "(Y/n), you were amazing!"

"I don't know Hyuna. I don't think it did that well." I say letting go of Taemin's and turning to face her.

"No! (Y/n) that's was amazing, you did so well!" She starts jumping up and down, "I can't wait for this music video!"
