Chapter 13: News

It's been a few weeks since the music video was released. I've kept in touch with all of the mentors from The Unit, but now I live with Taemin and the members of SHINee, Minho, Key and Onew. I wake up and feel Taemin's arms around me. I smile and grab my phone.

I take a selfie of me and Taemin, even though he is sleeping he looks beautiful. I decide to post it on Instagram with the caption, 'My sleeping beauty' with some heart emojis.

I decide to check the music video, I search , 'Trouble Maker, (Y/n) and Taemin' there's the real music video. But I see someone on the website, Koreaboo. It looks interesting so I click on it. I start reading:

'Reality tv Show, The Unit, has released two special episodes about the relationship between (Y/n) (L/n) and Lee Taemin. In the first episode they did cute couple challenges.
In the second episode is where things got steamy. Rain, the MC, told them they would be making a music video of a very sexual song called, Trouble Maker, by Trouble Maker. This episode follows the practice sessions of (Y/n) and Taemin. Hyuna helped (Y/n) 'channel her sexy side'. At the end of the episode they show the music video for the audience.

SHINee fans and Taemin fans are unsure what to think of this relationship. The couple have posted photos on Instagram of their relationship and they seem to be really cute. At the headquarters, we approve!'

I chuckle and turn off my phone. I go back to sleep.

I wake up and see Taemin smiling at me, "What?" I ask smiling.

"Nothing, you're just so pretty." He says caressing my cheek.

"Stop!" I say giggling, "We should go downstairs and say good morning to the others."

"Yes, of course." He stands up and starts to walk to the door. I walk over to the wardrobe and pick out a hoodie and a pie of jeans.

"What are you doing?" He asks turning to face me getting changed.

"I'm getting changed Tae." I say smiling.

"You're still not comfortable?" He says sighing.

"Not yet. Just give me another week or something." I finished getting dressed and I walk down the stairs with him.

All of the others are down there waiting for us. We all say good morning to each other, "Have you all had breakfast?" I ask walking to the kitchen.

"Yes, he have (Y/n)." Onew says smiling, "You do so much for us and yet you still don't feel comfortable."

Minho sighs, "(Y/n), you don't have to do all the housework. It's been weeks and you still do everything!"

"But you're all letting me live here without paying anything. It's the least I can do." I say taking two plates from the cupboard.

"No, (Y/n), we have decided to establish a schedule for all of us." Key says, taking out a piece of paper to show me.

"But I'm not on there."

"Exactly. You are not going to do any housework! At all!" Key says smiling.

"But..."

"No buts!" Minho says, "You are a family member, let the parents do the work."

"That didn't make sense." I say smiling.

"Shut! Now, don't make anything fancy for breakfast, we already had it." Minho replies.

"What did you have?"

"Uh, cereal." Key says.

"Oh. Okay."

"(Y/n)! They're talking about us on the news! Come quick!" Taemin shouts from the lounge room.

"But breakfast!" I shout back.

"Later! Come listen, we have English subtitles for you!"

I run into the lounge room and sit next to Taemin, he puts his arm around my shoulder and I watch the news report.

"A few weeks ago. The Unit released two special episodes behind the relationship of (L/n) (Y/n) and Lee Taemin of popular boy group SHINee. These episodes were challenges the mentors set up for (Y/n) and Taemin." A video clip comes up and it shows the Jenga challenge and the cooking challenge. "But also, there were kissing scenes between the two stars." Then a clip of us kissing in the bedroom was shown, followed by us kissing after recording something, "They then were challenged by Rain, popular singer songwriter, to make a music video to the song 'Trouble Maker' by popular Duo Trouble Maker." Some parts of the music video play, "Some fans of Taemin are shocked about this relationship, some are unhappy leaving comments such as; Taemin deserves a better girl than her, what a h*e; Taemin is mine. But there are supportive fans, they comment; I think (Y/n) is a wonderful girl, she's pretty and everything! I love this relationship; I'm glad Taemin finally found someone he truly loves, it's amazing." The news reporter pauses, "On to our next story."

Minho starts screaming, "Our fans are so stupid and possessive!"

I start laughing and Taemin puts his head on my shoulder. "Are you okay?"

"Yes, I'm fine. I'm glad that some fans are supportive." I say rubbing his head.

"But they are right though, you both are really cute together." Key says smiling.

"Really?" I ask looking at Key with a funny expression.

"Yes! Seriously!" Key says putting his hands up in the air.

"I don't know why people think our relationship is cute." Taemin says from my shoulder, "All I know is that you're cute."

I giggle and pat his head, "Shh, don't say that."

"But it's true!" He says lifting his head, he looks at me with a burning stare.

The others and I start laughing at his sudden outburst.

"What?! It's true right?!" He says to the other members.

"Yes, I think (Y/n)'s cute!" Onew says waving his hands in the air.

"See!" Taemin says, "Wait, did you just call (Y/n) cute..?"

"You told me to!" Onew says, fear washing over him.

I laugh and punch Taemin's arm lightly, "Hush, the fans say they want us to make a TikTok account."

"TikTok? Seriously?" Taemin says smiling.

"Yes!"

"You can make us a shared one." He says putting his head back on my shoulder.

"Me and you?" I ask installing the app.

"Yes, me and you. A shared TikTok account."

"Uh okay, can I have breakfast now?" I ask Taemin, he shuts his eyes.

"Someone get (Y/n) breakfast." He says purr his arm around my waist.

"I'll do it!" I exclaim going to stand, but Taemin pushes me back down.

"No, Minho or someone do it, you're staying here."

I sigh and smile at Minho who is getting my breakfast. Taemin is so stubborn!
