Hope you all like this! I was reading a book I have of Dracula and got inspired to write this. 🖤🦇

I've been trying to sleep for over two hours now, but I just can't fall asleep. I've laid on my back, stomach, my left and right side, but nothing. "God, why can't I sleep...?" I finally just decide to get up and walk around the house. I walk over to the bookshelf and grab my favorite book and sit down on the couch, and I open the book and start to read it. Forty minutes minutes later, I've already read it three times, and I'm now on my fourth read. I just started to read page 10 when I hear a sweet soft voice behind me. "Rhiannon?" I turn my head and see Billie in her light pink nightgown, looking at me all half asleep. "What are you doing up, babydoll?" She sits beside me, and leans in to see what I'm reading. "I couldn't sleep, I tried to lay in every position I could think of, but I just couldn't fall asleep. So I thought maybe if I read for a little bit, I would be tired enough to go back to sleep."

"Awwww, I'm sorry, baby..." she moves the strand of hair covering my face and kisses my cheek, then lays her head on my shoulder. "What are you reading, sweetheart?" "Dracula." She sits up and grins, then takes the book away for a minute to look at it. "Isn't this the book that Sally got you when you were little?" "Yeah. You remember it, right? It's the story of Dracula, but they made it easier for kids to read by making it like a comic book." She nods and starts to read some of it. "I must've fallen asleep and dreamed... for the trip was like a nightmare. The carriage seemed surrounded by howling wolves... the horses were scared. Then the driver got down, waved his arm, and the wolves turned around and ran. I must have dreamed! A man cannot control wolves."

As she continues to read the story, I lay down and put my head in her lap. "I went to bed with fear in my heart. What manner of man is this... or what manner of beast that looks like a man? I slept, then suddenly awoke. There was bright moonlight... and a feeling that I was not alone! I lay still unable to move. As if under a magic spell I could not move. I watched these strange women come closer from under my eyelids." She starts running her fingernails through my hair, softly scratching my scalp, making me moan softly from how nice it feels. "Does that feel good, angel?" "Mmhmm..." she giggles at my response and leans down to kiss my temple.

"Suddenly his plan was clear. I was helping to move this horrible vampire to London, where for centuries he might drink the blood from its helpless millions. I picked up the only weapon around. But a person can't kill the Undead with just a shovel! Though he was asleep, the Count's eyes seemed to stop me and the shovel dropped from my hands." She looks down at me from the book and can see that I'm dead asleep in her lap. She chuckles to herself, and manages to get out from under me. She lays a blanket over me and kisses my temple, then my cheek. "Sleep well, babygirl. I'll read you more tomorrow." She starts to walk away, but then stops and turns around to look at me, asleep. "I can't just leave her here on the couch..." Billie thinks to herself, as she decides what to do. She walks back to me and lays down on the couch behind me, and wraps her arm around my waist. She kisses the back of my head and whispers, "Goodnight, my little Dracula lover... I love you so much, babygirl..."
