The judges sits behind the raised desk, the bench. Behind the judges are the great seal of the jurisdiction and the Philippine Flag.
They were wearing their usual plain black robe as required in many jurisdictions.
Adjacent to the bench are the witness stand and the desks where the court clerk and the court reporter sit.
The courtroom is divided into two parts by the Bar, it may be an actual railing.
The police officer stands against one wall. On one side is the judge's bench, the tables for the plaintiff, where the Governor and his son seated together with their defense lawyer in the opposite direction side is the tale for the prosecutor, where Diego and Lucas was seated.
"Governor Anriuz Thompson, the accuser, Sebastián Thompson, the right-hand of the accuser, Beatrice Madrigal, the victim" panimula ni Diego.
Everyone was silent inside the courtroom.
"Sebastián Thompson was the victim's stalker back when they were in college."

"The obsession of the accuser to victim lead triggered because of what the victim did. the accuser intruded to the victim's house to forced her to go with him. " Diego said.
The court clerk showed the CCTV footage of Sebastián entering our mansion and leaving Liam's car.

Naupo naman si Diego. Tumayo ang defense lawyer ng mga Thompson.
"The victim Beatrice Madrigal, sued the Mr. Sebastián Thompson just because he thought that the man likes her"
Biglang nag-init ang dugo ko sa sinabi ng lawyer.

"I hereby deny the accusation" Sabi ng lawyer bago bumalik sa pagkakaupo.
Ipinasok ng court clerk ang public gallery stand kung saan nakapaloob ang pistol.
"In the result of the autopsy, we found out the handprints of Mr. Sebastián on the victim's body as well as in this pistol."
"Show them the autopsy result"
Then a document flashed on the TV screen.
"The victim didn't die because of the shot."
"The bruises and wounds in the victim's body was Sebastián doing."
" I hereby charged Mr. Sebastián Thompson with an assault"
Their defense lawyer didn't talk anymore.
"Mr. Sebastián Thompson will be charged Assault and will be detention in jail for about 6 years, 9 months and 14 days" the judge claimed.
Napangisi na lang ako. Everything seems nice.
"Let's proceed to Mr. Anriuz Thompson. The Defense lawyer please go through and review the evidences for your next trial scheduled tomorrow"
Nagkaroon ng katahimikan ang courtroom nang simulang basahin ng defense lawyer ang nakahain na ebedinsya laban sa client niya.
"That was cool" napatingin naman ako kay Irene.
"Sa loob lang ng Dalawampu't limang minuto, natapos na" Sabi ni Irene.
Napatingin naman ako sa harapan. Kasalukuyang may pinag-uusapan ang dalawa.
They're strategy was nice.
"Evidence 37, disagree" wika ng defense lawyer.
"Evidence 45, disagree"
"Evidence 53, disagree"
"Evidence number 53 is a testimony from a witness. You disagree with this?" tanong ng judge.
"Yes, I disagree with it. The said witness is missing right now and he is an old man with an Alzheimer disease" sagot ng defense lawyer.
"It's very doubtful this old man with an Alzheimer disease could testify logically"
"There is no need for us to hear a testimony from the witness"
Galit na itinulak ko ang standee malapit sa entrance ng law firm.
"Relax ka lang. Hindi pa natin naiilalabas ang mga baraha natin" Sabi ni Lucas.
"How could I relax? The only witness is still missing until now and there's no chance na pakinggan nila ang testimony ni mang pito." galit na tugon ko sakanya.
Nagkatinginan naman ang dalawa, "We are not the best prosecutor in town if we're nothing" wika ni Diego.
"What do you mean?" nagtatakang tanong ko.
"The police officer called us kanina. Nakuha nila si Tristan Madrigal" sagot ni Lucas.
"How about mang pito?" tanong ko.
"He died." tipid na sagot ni Diego.
"But there's still no sense. Hindi niyo naisulat si Tristan sa mga witness" tugon ko.
"We did"
I looked at them amazingly.
"During our investigation, we excluded mang pito but we purposely wrote his name and his desease on the evidences para madistruct ang defense lawyer nila." Sabi ni Lucas.
Nakahinga naman ako ng maluwag.
"Saan yung kasama mong babae?" tanong ni Diego.
"Umalis na kanina pa" sagot ko.
"She is Irene Thompson, right?" tanong ni Diego.
"Yes" sagot ko.
"Hinahanap siya ni Tristan Madrigal"
"You mean that man?" takang tanong ko.
"Oo, he's requesting her na puntahan siya sa custody" sagot ni Diego.
Napatingin naman ako kay Lucas.
Bakit naman siya gustong makita ni Tristan?
