*Wolf Whistle*
Tiana and Ruby let out a praising noise at Regina as she walks through the coffee shop door. "What's the occasion?" Ruby asks, side eyeing Tiana. "Oh I just felt like.." Regina searches for an answer and looks around the shop.
"He's not here," Tiana informs. "Who?" Regina shrugs casually, yet slightly disappointed. "Killian, Mr. Right, English accent, clearly IQ over 150, great hands.... and..." Ruby lists. "OK!" Regina silences.
"He hasn't been here in.... two days, I noticed," Regina sighs. "Well he was here at opening, grabbing his coffee, said he was going to the library," Tiana tells her.
"Oh, why didn't you tell me ahead of time? I wasted this dress," Regina shrugs. "You can... go to the library," Ruby encourages. "Oh... right... I.. .can," Regina realizes.
"Here, latte to go," Tiana winks at her placing the paper cup in her hand. "What? I can't just go ambush him at the library," Regina denies.
"You're a writer, he's a writer, he's getting research I guess for a part in his next book of his series," Tiana said. "Right, I'm still not finished the most recent one," Regina said.
"I foresee you plowing right through that, no pun intended," Ruby swaggers off. "Oh come on Regina, you aren't stalking him by going and seeing him, and he clearly had a reason to tell us what he was up to," Tiana mused.
"What do you mean?" Regina asks. "Well why would he just randomly tell us unless he figured we would relay that message to you?" Tiana ponders. "Huh... okay then," Regina said.
"Go get him," Ruby roughly nudges, "Okay, well Bella was indeed going to look for a book a few days ago for me," Regina thought. "There you go," Tiana nods, "Go on," she pushes Regina towards the door that Ruby opens.
Regina breathes, and walks in her fancier pumps towards the library. She realizes she's doing the same type of cleansing breaths she would do working out or at yoga, "Regina get a grip," she scolds herself.
The library is quite large, and she partially feels like looking for Killian, but doesn't want to come off as some creep considering she met the man two days before.
Reading his books, fate was a common theme in his epic romance novels, so she figured to go with that concept, though she was typically more skeptical. Even so, Regina would go to Bella, the brunette librarian, total bookworm, who had worked there for as long as Regina could remember.
They were friendly towards each other, and as Regina rounds the corner where Bella's normal research desk is placed, she stops before the wrong the metal shelf.
Spotting, Killian.
He wears an olive green rolled up, unbuttoned shirt, with what seems to be a soft gray fitted tee under it. He has khaki levis on, and as usual his hair is neatly styled.
"How is he so damn cute?" Regina whispers to herself.
Killian casually leans over the research desk as Bella clicks away at the keys. Regina watches through the spaces between the books and the shelves, and sees him smile, and feels a strange ping in her stomach.
She feels her brow creasing on her forehead as she becomes clearly jealous at his friendliness with Bella.
Bella is brunette and very pretty, so she wouldn't be that surprised.
Regina tucks herself behind a smaller wheeling shelf, and crouches down to keep watching, attempting to
As Killian flashes a grin, Regina huffs and actually tips over the book cart. It isn't a quiet fall with books hitting the floor, and Bella and Killian are the first people to notice.
"Shit," She curses loudly. "Oh Regina, are you alright?" Bella worries, "I'm fine," Regina clears her throat.
"You sure?" Killian asks. "Yes, thank you," Regina pushes her hair from her face, and Bella begins picking up the books. "I was just looking for something," Regina excuses.
"Well the book you wanted I have," Bella comments. "Great," Regina forces. Killian stares at her curiously, unable to not notice her outfit and how attractive she is. He's paying more attention, however, to the look of fluster on her face.
"Fancy seeing you here," He said. "Who talks like that?" Regina scoffs. "British writers," He smirks. "Right.." Regina shrugs.
"Here you go Regina," Bella hands her a book. "Great... that's what I came for," Regina forces. "Bye," she turns away quickly, rolling her eyes at herself, and embarrassed.
"Uhh thank you, just please use that number and call me when the book comes," Killian rushes off.
As Regina clicks down the steps fo the library. "Regina!" Killian calls after her. "Oh god," She turns quickly at the bottom of the stairs to watch him following after her.
He's in shape indeed and stops in front of her, with his bag off his shoulder. With a smile of course across his face.
"What's your rush? Trying to avoid me?" He asks. "Uhh no, I just didn't want to seem like I was looking for you or something stalker like," Regina said.
"Mmm, stalker like? Interesting choice of words," he smiled. "I don't have to use perfect writer vocabulary every casual conversation now do I? That's not a rule," Regina defends.
"Oh of course not, but one would question why you were crouching down behind a book shelf, instead of just making yourself known. We're both writers, and you clearly been going there a while, it wouldn't really seem, stalker-ish," he emphasizes, and clicks his tongue in his mouth.
"Uhh.." Regina stammers yet again, staring at him. "Coffee?" He offers. "Oh.. umm, you're going there?" Regina asks.
"Yeah, I think we've established that place is the best place for coffee and writing in this area," Killian mentioned. "Right, okay, well sure," Regina agrees.
"Plus I'm pretty sure that they expect it," Killian smirks. "Whom?" Regina feigns. "Your friends, though you clearly know Bella too," Killian said. "Well I mean this is my hood as they say and I've been here for at least five years," Regina shrugged.
"Good to see it's treated you well, they care about you," Killian said. "Yeah well," Regina agrees.
"You know I was in the middle of your last book, haven't finished it yet," Regina said. "Oh is that so?" Killian asks.
"Yeah, you're writing the next one?" Regina asks. "Yes, I'm guessing you're an impatient type and think you can get a spoiler from me?" he teases. "It crossed my mind," Regina doesn't deny.
"Mmm, No," he states. "I don't give any spoilers to anyone, ever," He adds.
"Not even a fellow writer?" Regina asks. "Not a fellow writer, fan or friend.. or more." He says devilishly walking a bit ahead of her, turning his head to see her rushing to catch up to him.
