Two half empty glasses sit on the wooden table in front of the couch. The red wine creates a shined effect in the glasses and a faint lipstick mark is on one of them.
Killian's hand clasps up, his thumb grazing the jawline of Regina's, as his fingers entwine into her hair. One of her legs wraps around his, as she's half on his lap, in a passionate make out session on his couch.
Her boots are off at this point, as her leg wraps around his, her fists gripping wildly at his shirt. A numbness swells between their lips, yet they continue to press into each other.
The natural buck in Regina's hips, pushes her towards him, her leather skirt no a bit hiked up, as his hand has felt almost the whole way up her leg. "Mmm," the pair groan together.
"Mm... I ... should leave," Regina utters. He raises his brow and pouts at her a moment before gripping her head gently between his hands, to bring her mouth to his. "If I don't," she pulls herself away.
"I'll end up sleeping with you, and I think you need to earn that more," She said. "Oh I see, well I am old fashioned and I think I at least should buy you a real dinner before taking you in my bed," He said.
"Despite the fact I really want you," she tugs him, but releases him at the same time. "Same," he agrees, catching his breath.
"I don't want you to think I'm that easy," Regina said. "Well I already know you like me," He reminds. "Well, yeah," She confirms.
"I agree though, I can take you out on a real date," He said. Forcing themselves to unravel their make out position, Regina slips her boots back on. Not without watching eyes, mind you, Killian's eyes stayed on every move she made and the shapes that went with it.
He nibbles his lip and hands her bag to her, "Here," he hands one of the books to help with her next novel, "You said I couldn't take it," She reminds. "Well, I think we clarified that you'll be back," He smiled.
She giggles a bit girlishly, tucking a piece of her hair behind her ear.
"So I guess coffee tomorrow first?" He asks. "Well we still have to write," She shrugs. "That's not the date though," he winked.
"Oh tomorrow??" She looks at him surprised. "Well I mean I'm free, but it's up to you," he mused. "Oh.. I'm free..." she agrees.
"Good, so, tomorrow," He smiles at his doorway, as she begins to leave. "You're still a creep," She swaggers forward, turning back to tell him.
"Yeah, obviously," he tilts his head devilishly. Confidently, she turns back and sways her hips side to side feeling his eyes follow each move as she gets to the elevator.
The next morning, Regina goes to the coffee shop at her usual time, and she sips at her first latte, then her second, trying not to look at the clock.
It's past ten am, and he still hasn't come through the door. She looks at Ruby, as she comes over with a beignet. "He'll show up, this isn't even the date, when is that?" Ruby asks. "Uhh well tonight, but he didn't tell me when or anything," Regina worried.
Another hour passes and Regina feels her leg bounce up and down under the table, her heel clicking against the floor repeatedly.
"Regina calm down, he's going to show, maybe he had a meeting he had to get to today," Tiana said. "Wouldn't he have said that?" Regina whines. "When you two were making out that long? When?" Tiana glares at her.
"This isn't funny.. what if he---" She begins. "Is right here," His voice echoes behind her. "Oh.... Hi," Regina shrugs back into a casual posture, looking at him. "Hi," he smiled.
"Your usual?" Tiana bends sideways to be seen around the small nervous wall of Regina. "Hi," Regina spits out again. "You said that already, I had a surprise meeting with my editor," He informs.
"That's.. you don't have to tell me that," Regina clears her throat and sits down. "Mmm, you sure about that? You seemed to be looking for me," He said.
"Well I also realized you didn't really give me your number," Regina prompts. "Mmm you sure? It's in the book," He said.
Regina gapes at him, and then flips open the book to see a small piece of paper in the front of it with his number. "Well you could have told me it was there," She argues.
"Well I'm here now, no need to worry," he sits down. Regina crosses her arms on the table, "Oh stop, you're not mad at him in the slightest, and if you are, that won't stop you having another make out session," Tiana reprimands, placing Killian's usual americano and beignet in front of him.
Regina scoffs at her, and rolls her eyes. Killian can't help but mockingly smirk across the table at her. "Okay stop the cocky look," Regina sasses.
"Okay, I just would like to point out that you were worried I just was going to not show up," He mentions, and scratches his ear.
"Are you finished?" She rebukes. "For now," he smirks.
"My editor surprised me with a meeting, and we had to confirm my completion of the next novel, I think that scene I showed you should go in there," He mused.
"You're bringing that up first thing in the morning?" Regina lectured. "Well it's nearly eleven, not too early I don't think," he chides.
"When is your date for it?" Regina asks. "About a month," he answers. "You can finish by then?" She asks. "Yeah I wrote the first two books in under two months actually," He said.
"That's pretty impressive, given how detailed and long they are," Regina praised. "Was that a compliment Ms. Mills??" He smiles cockily. "Yes, it was," She admits.
"I'm not worried about that date right now, I'm worried about ours," He leans on the table. "Are we still on for that tonight? Or are you mad at me?" He pouts cutely.
"I could be mad at you, and still let you take me out," She mocks. "Mmm, well I like that," He grins.
"Where are we going?" She asks. "No no no no," He waves his finger. "You don't get to know," he denies.
"Why not? How will I know what to wear?" She wonders. "You know, you could just loosen up and not worry so much about that, and be spontaneous," He says in a seductive tone.
Regina's POV
He can talk to me like that all day and I'll do anything he wants.
"Do you own jeans?" he asks. "Of course I do," She retorts with a huff. "Good, then wear those, and just ... trust me maybe?" He asks.
"Okay," she agrees reluctantly. "I'll show you a good time, I assure you I know how to plan a night out," He said.
"Probably better than you," he adds with a teasing look. She gasps at him, "I know how to plan a date," She snaps.
"Well this one is my turn," he snarks.
Her mouth shuts without a single possible reply to him, he's too smooth.
