As the time of Regina and Killian relationship passes a year, the pair have been married, and now comfortably live in Killian's apartment building. They've upgraded to a two bedroom, using the second one as an office, for all of their writing.

Killian sits in the office, writing, as he's about to publish another book and needs to focus completely without disturbance.

Regina quietly pops in the door, "knock knock Shakespeare," Regina peeks in with a mug. "Hey babe, I'm almost done, and ready to get this printed off for my editor, what's your status?" He asks.

"Good, kind of want to go to Tiana's," Regina shrugged. "Well you want to do an afternoon cup? I'll be ready to just relax and outline the next one," Killian said. "Sure, you gonna tell me spoilers?" Regina grins over his desk placing down some tea.

"No," he clicks his tongue and steals a kiss from her. She pouts at him, but loves the surprise of reading each of his books.

Regina opens the front door to gather the paper as Killian finishes up printing the manuscript.

She flips through the black and white pages before getting to the literature section and looking for the recent listings of the top ten in various categories.

She gasps, and rushes down the hallway towards the office. Bursting in, "LOOK!" Regina glees, pushing the paper in front of Killian.

He blink his eyes, "Look, top ten fiction fantasy, who's name is that?" Regina boasts. "THAT is my wife," he grins.

Regina scrunches her nose excitedly, as Killian grasps her tightly in his hug. "Come on let's get down there and tell them the news," Killian cheered.

"Yes, the news," Regina beams, following him out, as they toss on jackets together.

As the door opens to the coffee shop. "Well well we are greeted with one of the top ten best sellers in fiction fantasy!!" Tiana announces.

Regina blushes coyly, as her friend hugs her. A small round of applause is around the shop as Killian smiles proudly.

"I'm framing that," Killian said taking the paper in his hand. "Oh come on, you've been on it too," Regina reminds. "Yes, so? I love you more than me," Killian grinned.

"Well I love you more than me," Regina chided. "Yeah well," Killian nods.

"Okay you two, here is something on the house in honor," Tiana puts down chocolate cake. "Oh my god why does that look so good?" Regina licks her lips.

"Really? You usually don't go that nuts over Cake," Tiana laughs. "Well... things change, maybe it's just being overexcited," Regina feigns.

"Usual?" Tiana offers. "Yes," Killian nods. "Umm, half caff for me," Regina says.

Tiana, Killian and Ruby stare at her, all raising an eyebrow. "Since when?" Killian asks. "Ummm," Regina breathes.

"What are you pregnant?" Killian snorts.

Tiana and Ruby keep staring at Regina as her head tilts. "Ummm yeah..." Regina informs.

Killian, Tiana and Ruby all stare at her bug eyed. Regina shrugs. "That's some more news for everyone," Regina utters.

"Are you serious?" Tiana asks, a side smile beginning. "Yeah," Regina flinched.

Tiana and Ruby turn to look at Killian who is gaping. "Uhh, really?" Killian asks. "Yes, Killian, pregnant, you me, having a baby, little person," Regina explains to him.

"How did that?-- I mean I know how that happened," he starts to boast. Regina chuckles.

His eyes soften, and his brow furrows, as she steps over to her side of the table. "Really?" he mutters.

"Yeah, we're having a baby," Regina smiled. "Oh my god!" he changes to ecstatic, pulling Regina up to standing and picking her up in his arms.

Tiana and Ruby let out laughter and hug Killian and Regina together.

"I can't believe you're gonna have a little beignet," Tiana weeps. "I think we should call it a coffee bean for now," Ruby joked.

"I'm going to be a Dad, this is amazing, here sit down," He moves Regina's hips to sit back down. "Okay honey, I'm literally weeks, you don't have to coddle me," Regina giggled. "What? Yes I do, she's having my baby," Killian grinned.

"We know Killian, Oh I have to call Bella," Ruby squeaked. "Uhh, can you ask her if she can get some pregnancy books gathered for us?" Regina asks.

"Ah brilliant, that's a good idea," Killian says. "And let's see we'll need a carseat, and cradle, and stroller, one of those fancy diaper things," Killian rambles. Regina looks at him confused.

"Killian Killian, slow down," Regina takes his hand. "We have nine months," Regina said.

"Right," he takes a breath. "I'm going to be a dad," He mused. "You will be the best Dad," Regina said.

"Here you go," Tiana puts coffee in front of them. "Yeah I'm not really looking forward to the caffeine cut back," Regina pouted. "But, it's for a good cause," Regina said.

Killian continues smiling foolishly the entire rest of the day.

As they get home, he heads straight for the office.

"So we can easily make this the baby's room," He observes. "What about the desk and the shelves?" Regina asks.

"Mmm we rearrange a bit in the living room, that little nook we have, I can make it work," Killian nods confidently.

"You're really excited," Regina giggled. "I am, I mean I know we weren't really trying but we weren't not trying either, and I just didn't expect to be this happy when it ... happened. The writer in me is lost for words can you tell?" He laughs in spite of himself.

"No, it's perfect," She wraps her hands around his neck.

"I have a feeling however, you're not going to react that well to low caffeine in your system," Killian predicts. "What? I can handle that," Regina boasts.

He raises an eyebrow, "Regina you're used to like three cups of coffee a day, I am pretty sure you won't be too happy cutting it out," He grinned.

"Well it's for the little bean," Regina mused. "It is, but that doesn't mean a mummy can't be a little cranky about it," He said.

"Yeah well, right now all I feel is my boobs hurting, so I guess we'll see how pregnancy treats me, or rather us," Regina grins.

"Yeah I'm pretty sure your nails are going to have to be trimmed by the time labor rolls around, just a hunch," He chuckles.

"I think if I have to bleed bringing your child into the world, that you should too," Regina challenged. "Okay, okay, fair enough," Killian nods.

"We're really having a baby," Regina sighs happily.

"We really are," He kisses her gently.
