Regina folds her notebook, returning her red nails to her keyboard. She feels a soft scruff come to her temple.

"Why didn't you wake me?" He mutters. Regina closes her eyes, and then turns to see Killian smiling at her as he moves to sit in front of her at the table.

"Well you looked so peaceful, and you were quite active last night, thought you could use the reboot," Regina smirked.

Killian smiles deviously at her as he places his laptop on the table. Ruby sidles up bringing his usual latte.

"Well thanks," he winked, gently sliding his foot up her leg under the table. "You two are so ridiculously in love," Ruby commented, heading back to make drinks.

Six months had passed and Regina and Killian's relationship was stable and committed.

"Well who's winning?" Killian looks over his laptop, "I am, I've gotten more words than you this week," Regina boasts.

"Well it's not my fault that you distract me at night and you're practically insatiable," He comments. Tiana, behind his back mouths 'nice' at Regina.

She flushes out a giggle, "I know you're there Tiana, and she's very spoiled," Killian mocks. "Come on you're pretty spoiled too," Regina scoffs.

"That is true," he agrees.

"Okay, you better tell me what this weekend plan is, because you've been teasing it for months," Regina scolds. "Why would I do that? All of my surprises you tend to enjoy, especially the one last night," he licks his lip.

Regina shakes her head, he's indeed right.

"Well I mean, it's been six months," Regina settled into her chair. "Right? And things are going well," He shrugged. "Well I mean, what's ahead?" she asks.

"Oh right, women like to have some kind of goal where the relationship is heading," he thinks. "You write Cassandra, you know this," Regina states.

"Yes and now with the next book already ready for publishing, guess you'll find out where their relationship goes, maybe ours will follow, if you're lucky," He winks.

"Stop teasing me Killian," She pouts.

"Regina, we're moving along nicely, let's let things unfold eh?" He raises his brow at her. Killian tends to have a good point usually, which drives Regina crazy that he's right more often than not.

Regina sighs and feels his foot gently nudge her calf. "Okay, I'm sorry, will you at least tell me what to wear to another surprise outing?" She asks.

"Of course, I actually already picked it out." He smiled.

Regina furrowed her brow at him, as he casually resumed his typing. "Now if you'll let your boyfriend work, I need to catch up to you in my writing," he smiled.

As Saturday morning arrives, Regina works out early and picks up to go coffee from Tiana's and heads back into the apartment.

"Hey you," Killian smiles as Regina stares up at him with her running gear on. She didn't expect to see him in a very renaissance style outfit.

"Uhh Hi," She smiled. "Hi, your dress is on the bed," He informs. "Where are we?" She begins.

"The Renaissance Fare," he answers. "Oh! Really?" She gasps cutely. "Yeah, sort of up my alley, but also yours given you enjoy my writing," Killian smiled.

Regina smiled and kisses him cutely. "Come on let's go," he swats her ass cutely as she rushes off with her coffee to get ready.

Her dress, that he had made, by taking one of her other dresses to a tailor, was almost like Juliet, soft and pretty with woven threading of gold.

It fit her perfectly, and she headed out to greet him in the living room. "Mmm, now that is also a look that works on you, how is it I have a woman who can do it all?" He thinks.

"Guess you got lucky," she shrugs.

They head off, driving about forty minutes before getting to the fare grounds. They look as if they've stepped out of the Game of Thrones series and Regina looks around at everything bright eyed and curious.

Killian's POV

This is beyond perfect. Good plan Killian. Just don't fuck it up.

Killian leads her near the marketing area where sellers of handmade items are all around them.

"Here come here," Killian leads her by the hand to a table of jewelry.

"Oh," Regina's curiosity peaks, and Killian flashes a grin and a wink to the shop attendant. He nods back at him knowingly, and gets out a small box as Regina is viewing the rings on the table, laid out already.

"Uhh, here, try this one," Killian takes her hand and starts to slide a ring on her finger. "Wow, that's... beautiful," Regina looks at the shining diamond cut into a heart in the center, and the adjacent rubies that surround it.

"Fits nicely," She sighs happily.

"Yeah, well, I planned that," Killian utters. Regina clasps her other hand over her mouth as she realizes, and Killian takes one knee.

"Oh my god," she whispers.

"Umm, cheesy planning but, Regina.... Will you marry me?" he asks.

Regina's POV

Cheesy? No it's not it's the best, most perfect thing ever and the most perfect man I could have had propose.

Regina feels herself breathing so fast, as he stares up at her, "I love it though, and you, yes," She giggles out of her mouth.

Killian returns to his feet and she wraps her ring finger against his cheek as they kiss to a round of applause.

"You are really kind of full of the best surprises," Regina smiled. "Yeah? You don't think it's beyond cheesy?" he asks.

"You got a dress made for me for this, without my knowing, and the ring all set ahead of time to be here as a surprise, I don't think that's cheesy, I mean... Old me would have scoffed at it," She admits.

"Yeah? And Now?" he asks. "You... softened the hell out of me," She shakes her head.

"And I hate you for it," Regina rolls her eyes.

"Wow, that is a nice rock," Tiana gazes at the ring on her finger days later. Regina can't stop smiling, nor can her friends about her engagement.

Killian enters the coffee shop, and is greeted with Tiana and Ruby hugging him. "Well thanks," Killian smiled.

"You better be good to her," Tiana warns. "Uhh I have been so far right?" He dances his brow.

"No seriously, I can ground coffee, I can ground you," Tiana smiled. "Stop that," Regina scolds.

"Well, I got a wedding band," he takes out a ring box. "Already?" Regina asks. "Yeah, here," he hands her the box.

She opens it, with her friends leaning over, and the two white gold bands shine up at her with a thin yellow gold stripe each.

"Read inside," he says.

They look at the inner part of the rings, and read, "I love you a latte?" Regina smirks at him.

"Yep!" He scrunches his nose up cutely.

"My god he is so cute, it's gross," Ruby scoffs.

"That's... so adorable. Nerdy but," Tiana shrugs.

"I love it," Regina leans up and kisses him.
