After about four hours of solid back and forth eyes and random caffeine refills, Killian's phone buzzes. "Ah, think I gotta get going, have to send some things to my editor and get a workout in," Killian said.

"Oh, more apartment finishing?" Regina asks. "No, little run and pull ups and all that," he tilts his head as his laptop shuts. "Oh, that.. makes sense," She muses without being too obvious. Killian notices anyway and smirks.

"So I was thinking," he scratches his ear. "I noticed at least some factors in your little research notes, I may have a book at home to help you," He said. "A few actually," he adds.

"Oh?" She asks. "Well if you want to do some writing support in my place, tomorrow," He mentions. "Oh, umm, sure I guess we can do that," Regina said.

"Great, four?" He asks. "Sure," she hiccups almost, nervously. "Great," he flashes his grin and heads out.

Regina winces instantly at Ruby, who's making her way towards her. "What's wrong?" She shrugs. "He asked me over, to... write," Regina worries.

"Oh, I wonder if this means I lose the bet," Ruby sulks. "Are you serious? What does this mean? It's not a date," Regina denies. "Is it?" She questions.

"Okay, did he say anything else?" Tiana asks. "Like?" Regina shrugged.

"Like bring wine, or wear something half naked?" Tiana teased. "I mean you know like did he mention ordering in, or getting dinner?" She asks.

"No, so then it can't be a date," Regina scoffs. "It still could be, it is his place," Ruby adds.

"Oh god what do I wear?" Regina worries. "Nothing," Ruby chuckles.

Glaring at her, Regina shakes her head nervously. "Okay, calm down, let's think about this logically," Regina said.

"What time did he ask you to come?" Tiana raises. "Four o'clock," Regina answers. "Hmm," Tiana and Ruby press their brows and lips forward. "That doesn't really give us a hint. It could literally be just writing and casual," Ruby ponders.

"OR  he's asking her to come over early to make it seem like they're going to work a bit then makes the move making it a dinner date, of basically eating Regina," Tiana smiled.

"Oh my god, you two are awful and not helping me, I am leaving for today to maybe get something done and not worry about this," Regina shuts her laptop quickly and attempts gathering her things, fumbling.

Tiana and Ruby smile amused at her, and help her put things in her bag as she's flustering. "I mean, it can't be a date, we literally just met two days ago, and ... I .. I don't know," Regina rambles.

"Well let's worry about it tomorrow," Tiana suggests.

Regina shuffles out the door looking back at them like a lost puppy as she clumsily carries her books and bag.

The next day Regina stays home, "We don't want to just see him before this, whatever it is now do we?" She asks herself in the mirror. "Right.." she settles on and gets to work from home.

Around noon she receives a call from Tiana.

"Hey, he's here, or was," Tiana said. "And?" Regina asks anxiously. "Well he got a phone call while he was in line and said he had an afternoon engagement, didn't know how long it will last," Tiana said.

"So what does this mean?" Regina worries. "I don't know," Tiana quirks. "So then we still know nothing," Regina states. "Basically," Tiana confirms. "Okay, great bye," Regina hangs up.

As the clock ticks closer to the later afternoon, Regina showers, and ties her towel around her, just as her doorbell rings.

"Hello," Ruby beams brightly pushing her way inside, "What are you doing here?" Regina asks surprised. "Well Tiana figured one of us needed to come help you get stable and ready for this date non date at Mr. Perfect's apartment," Ruby rambled heading towards her closet.

"Oh, well I was just going to wear this," Regina points to a pant suit on the bed. "No," Ruby rejects. "Why?" Regina whines.

"Because you're going to his apartment not a board meeting for something like global rescue," Ruby searches through the hangers.

"Ah, see? A Dress," Ruby holds a black dress up. "That's a bit formal for his apartment, when we don't even know if this is a date," Regina tugs it out of her hand and returns it to the rack.

"Okay fine how about something in between?" Ruby suggests. "Like why not something casual and chic?" Ruby ponders.

"Okay?" Regina crosses her arms.

Regina rolls her eyes and heads to do hair and makeup, returning to an outfit laid out. Black midi leather skirt, red top and a black crop jacket.

"Hmm," She thinks. "Come on, it's a good in between, not your stiff suits with the casual jacket but still classy, and the skirt, we already know he likes your ass," Ruby grins.

"How?" Regina scoffs. "He checked it out, more than once," Ruby states.

"No heels, boots, sexy but also more casual," Ruby presses and Regina is officially ready. "Okay, I'm ready for my non date date," she says with a sigh. "Regina, you forgot your laptop and bag," Ruby reminds.

Flustered, Regina sighs and takes her things and now officially heads out.

Regina's POV

I followed to the address he gave me and ended up outside a sleek building. He would definitely live here. Buzzing up, he let me in and there was no going back now. As the elevator dinged to his floor, I stepped out and he was there, leaning against his opened door frame.

Killian wore a blue sweater, with a light artsy scarf around him, his sleeves rolled up, and black pants, not quite dress pants, but sleek and fitted in the right places, bootcut.

His eyes sparkle, as his perfect headed hair lifts up looking at her step off the elevator. "Hi," he says with a soft smile.

"Hi," Regina breathes.

Regina's POV

Jesus christ he looks good, he's kinda dressed up isn't he? I can't tell.

Killian's POV

Damn she's fine, I like that skirt.

Killian gestures her inside his place, which is extremely tidy and stylish. "This is nice," Regina said. "Yeah, it's gotten a lot of work done, and now it's nice, though I have trouble concentrating here sometimes, that's why I go out to write often, today's the exception," He smirks.

Regina's POV

Okay come on give me a hint smooth talker.

"Here, umm these books are the ones I have that I thought may deem useful for you," He leads her to his dining table with the books and his computer set up.

"Oh, they are," Regina mused picking one up. "Umm, can I offer you coffee or tea?" he asks.

"Sure, maybe tea so Tiana doesn't get jealous," Regina suggests. "Mm," He winks quickly.

She watches him put the kettle on and move around the kitchen, trying to figure out what this is.

"So you switched from your suit look today?" He asks. "Uhh well, yeah, little more... casual," She shrugs.

"Yeah, always good, still.. it's impressive," he raises a brow at her.

Killian's POV

She's perfect.

Regina's POV

Okay he knows exactly what he's doing. Jerk.
