Regina headed Killian's information to wear jeans that night. She put on some comfortable pumps, a peasant top and a leather jacket. Regina only loosened up with Ruby and Tiana, and that took at least a year of knowing them.
Killian, however, had already broken through the stiff exterior of Regina Mills and got her already in jeans looking more casual than ever.
She felt great. Still being herself, but let her playful and vulnerable side come out, made her feel empowered and alive. Not to mention, it was for a very attractive and stimulating man she was what she thought officially dating.
She didn't worry her mind thinking on their titles as of yet, she shuffled out of her apartment and there he was. "Hi," he grinned.
Killian was casual, yet still put together, like her. He wore dark wash jeans, a shirt with the sleeves rolled up and a shirt under that. Regina couldn't really get over how perfect his hair always was, and the perfect amount of scent that came off his body filling her nose.
"Well, you look extremely cute," He praised. "Do I get to know now?" She asks innocently. "No," he denies and offers his hand.
She huffs a moment, but takes his hand and he leads her off.
The arrive outside a lit up building, with a bowling pin. "Light up Bowling?" Regina is surprised. "Yep, told you I wanted you to loosen up, they have drinks and some little snacks, and we get to bowl, the lights blink," he glees.
"I'm not really good," She winces. "No? You have nice arms, you'll be fine," Killian shrugs. "You just want to look at my ass because bowling requires crouching, and all that," Regina scolds. "And you get to watch me do it too," He smirks.
"Oh okay then," Regina chuckles.
The pair sit down next to each other tying on shoes, and Regina picks out a purple neon light up ball.
"Woah hold on," Killian takes the ball from her hand and pushes her jacket off her shoulders. "There we go, you have to be able to move better," Killian said.
"Okay okay, I can't take anything else off," Regina teased. "Mm well you can but it would get us kicked out," He grinned.
Regina giggled, and she positioned her ball in her hand. "Okay go for it," Killian sat at the scoring table, and watched Regina step towards the lane.
She releases the ball and it rolls off sideways hitting only the side corner pin. "Okay, that's something," Killian praised. "What? It was just one," Regina pouts.
Killian raises his brows and kisses her forehead as he gets his blue ball in his hand. "Watch, it's a motion, you'll get it," Killian walks and flings the ball straight down the lane, taking down nine pins.
He turns, opening his arms, as the lights blink in a rapid pace around their lane. Regina looks at the flashing fun, and then to him, "Wow, see I want that," Regina says gathering her bowling ball.
"Here," he gently takes her hips, "Stand here," he positions her. "Now, when you draw it back," he slides his hand up her arm, sending a shiver. "You then want to let it go, but follow your hand through," He said.
"Okay," Regina nods, "Three steps then let it go," He instructs.
She listens to him, and her ball goes much more centered, and hits eight pins. She squeals excitedly as eight lights dance around her. He claps in praise as he takes his place. "Okay see? Now we have a game going," He winked.
Regina can't help watching his undeniable attractive form hit the pins and get a strike. The lights along the lane are a decorated runway, as they trade spots.
Regina learned quickly, and started hitting over eight pins with each roll, and upon her first strike, flings into Killian's arm.
He picks her up one handed as she cutely nuzzles him. "Look at you, what a good student," He flirts, placing a tempting kiss on her mouth.
Regina's nose scrunching, giggles, upbeat personality continued through the night drawing Killian is just as deep as she already was by him.
Killian orders drinks, and the pair play, letting the night go by as the lights flicker as much as their eyes at each other.
Heading out of the place late into the evening, in boisterous laughter, Killian clutches Regina hand and tugs her into him.
Regina giggles, and stares up at him as her hands rest on his chest. "You have fun?" He asks brushing his nose against hers. "I did," She smiled. "Good, I've got an idea for this weekend if you're free?" he asks.
"Wow, that quick we get another date?" She beams. "Yeah, I don't see the need wasting time, and James and Cassandra were married in around thirty six hours in the first book," He reminds.
"Oh, you're proposing?" Regina teased. "I think THAT would freak you out," Killian joked. "Well they got married for reasons to protect her in the circumstance," Regina said.
"Mmm, but technically they didn't HAVE to consummate if they didn't want to," Killian mused. "Well if the guy looked like James, can't blame her," Regina smirked. "Oh?" He lifts a brow at her.
"Mmhmm," Regina puts her teeth over her bottom lip, flicking her eyes upward.
His eyes glimmer at her as they go from wide to think looking at her carefully. "Why don't you have a girlfriend?" She asks suddenly.
Killian opens his eyes and mouth, and cocks his head to the side, as he begins to answer. "Well, many women thought I was passionate, and a lot of fun, but they didn't think that would last long term," He said.
"What do you mean?" Regina asks. "I don't know, they just thought some things were too good to be true, and the expectations they have from the books jaded what they thought was possible," He shrugged.
"So how long were the relationships?" Regina asks. "Mm, longest was about eight, nine months. I don't really know where they got the idea that things couldn't last long term." He sighed.
"You think it can?" Regina asks. "I mean, if a man loves a woman, or someone loves anyone for that matter, they can make a lot of things last." He thought.
"I mean with you specifically," Regina presses. "I'm passionate, dedicated, and determined, much like my characters I create. If I love someone, I'm the best for them that I can be, but it goes both ways doesn't it?" he ponders.
"That's true," Regina nodded. "What about you?" he clutches her hand to his chest. "Well, they mostly thought I was too serious," she said.
"You? The woman who just giggled at the purple and blue lights as she got her first strike?" He teased. "Well, you... brought out that side, they ... didn't," She admits.
"Really?" He asks. "Yeah," she flusters.
"Why is that?" He asks gently. "I'll tell you when I figure that out," Regina mutters.
