The Lady Way [OHSHC] [Kyoya]

Chapter 01 | I'll Show You

 [Chapter 01 | I'll Show You. ]

 How did it happen exactly and what led to it? Well.. It's hard to explain all at once, so I'll just give you the quick verison. It all started with..

 "Have you been taking your medicine?"

"Yes, Jun."

"Have you been getting your rest?"

"Yes, Jun."

"You're not feeling light headed are you?"

She chuckled lightly at her daughter, gazing up at her from the small bed,"  Jun. I'm fine, really."She  softly smiled at her  beautiful daughter. " You're such a worry wart, you know?"

"I just want you to be okay." Jun replied in her usual calm tone of  voice. She gently sat on the side of the bed, her blue eyes gazing to her mothers green ones, "You take it easy and don't seem to care enough about yourself, it's only natural for me to worry about you."

Akira sat up in her bed, smiling at her teenage daughter," ...You seem to take my advice by heart, you know?"

"Your advice..?"

"Yes, to do things the lady way. "Akira softly replied, her emerald eyes gently gazing out the mall square-shaped window, ".. I really wish I could make a better life for you and your brother.. A better school than Kuran.."

Jun silently gazed at her mother for a few seconds before turning away, her blue eyes looking at the soft light brown carpet below them,"  ..Me and Kyo..We can get into Ouran you know."

Akira's eyes widened. She quickly looked back to Yun, " But, Jun..! Ouran isn't a-"

"I know it isn't a normal school but me and Kyo, we have the abilities to get into Ouran." Jun replied, her expression not changing from the usual calm one.  "We can do it, mother. " She looked back to her,  " You believe in us.. Don't you?"

"O-Of course I do.. I.."Akira stumbled, her eyebrow furrowing in worry,"...It's a big school, Jun. I don't want you to get caught up in it."

"I'll be fine.. I promise."

Akira smiled, "Fine.. Go prepare dinner, okay?"

"Ouran?" Kyo sat down on the dining table, sitting across from his sister, Jun. "I know we've spoken about going there but.. are you actually serious?" 

"What? Of course I am."Jun replied almost immediately, sitting up straight in her chair. 

Their father, who's divorced from their mother mumbled,"Eh? Ouran.. That place is snobby."

"Jun." Kyo sighed, running his fingers through his dirty blond hair. "You're just a fragile girl, Jun. You'd break under the pressure of Ouran. It has high standards and snobby people.You wouldn't last a week yet alone a few years, heck, you wouldn't even last a year even as a boy."

She practically felt her blood starting to boil."Kyo.. Are you saying because I'm a girl, I can't go there?" Her fists clenched.

Kyo's eyes widened. He shook his head,"N-No..!! Nothing like that I just.."

Jun's eyes narrowed at him, "You..!"She stood up, furious.

"Calm down, Jun..!"Her father sighed, " I agree with Kyo, it's way too much for you." After speaking, he immediately and happily stuffed his face with the food that Yun prepared. " Plus-"  He spoke through his eating," Kyo and I spoke to  Sakura and  Rinto, " Grandparents," They even agree that Ouran is too much for anyone like us. Heck, even the neighbors agree."He laughed.

Jun let her angry expression fall, a cold one replacing it. " I'll show you." She spoke up, "I  can do it." She threw off the napkin that was around her neck onto the table, pushing her chair back further she stormed off to her bedroom with an indifferent expression, the usual.

A bedroom door opened, out came Akira. She slowly and steadily went to the dining area, " Ah.. It smells nice. Jun, did y- " She blinked, stopping in her tracks when she saw Jun wasn't sitting down, "Eh..?Where's Jun?"

'I can't believe it.'Jun thought, sitting down on her bed. She was furious, extremely angry. ' How could they say that..? Ouran can't be- isn't that bad!' She  laid back on the bed, grabbing her phone she went to her texts, texting her best friend,  Breanna , who is an American exchange student.

' My brother and father think I cant handle Ouran.' She texted. A few moments later, she got a reply.

'Lol. Ouran is a pretty high class place y'know? I don't think you'd handle it very well either.'

Shocked? Yes, Jun was. Disgusted? Certainly.

It was like everybody was against her. To avoid getting herself more angry, she placed down her phone and didn't reply, just got up and got into her pajamas before heading to bed without dinner. Not like she needed it anyway. 

[Seven days later - 9:20 AM - Sunday. ]

After gathering her family up, Jun sat down with them in the lounge room. She  let out a sigh, holding out a letter in front of her. She glanced to the side, wondering how she could bring up such an important topic.

After exchanging glances with his parents, Kyo spoke up, " What is it,  Jun?"

"I..got accepted."Jun spoke up, her eyes darting back to look at her family. They seemed confused.

"Accepted..? For what, Jun?"Akira asked, leaning back on the couch and snuggling in the  pink cotton blanket she had wrapped around her.  She casually curled a strand of her brown hair whilst gazing at her daughter.

"Into Ouran."

The reactions were priceless. Kyo's eyes widened so much she swore they were going to pop out, her father  Shinobu's jaw dropped and Akira's facial expression was one mixed  with fright, excitement and confusion. If that's possible.

"What?!" Kyo exclaimed,"No way, show me!"

Jun sighed, handing her brother the open letter. He quickly took it out, reading it, both his parents peering over his shoulder to read it. Finally he spoke up, mumbling, "This is legit.."

"Of course it is."Jun sighed," I told you I can do it. I'll show you all I can last a year there and/or more... as a boy."

"Wait, what?"Shinobu blinked,"As a boy?"

"Yes. " Jun glanced to Kyo," You said even as a boy I couldn't last there.. Well, "She narrowed her eyes,"I'm going to prove you wrong."

"Jun, this is insane! Stop being so stubborn."Kyo argued. " Going to Ouran as a boy? No way you can pull that off, are you crazy?"

"No way I can pull it off? Just watch me." Jun snapped back. She looked to her mother then back to her brother,"I'm going to do it. "She sat straight, holding her head up high."I'm going to do it the lady way."

There you have it, that's how it happened. That's how she got into Ouran and met the love of her life.

[New Ouran story! I love this one already. Sorry if this chapter seems rushed, it's supposed to be. xD Anyway, hope you enjoy this story and stick by  stubborn Jun in her adventures of being a boy and a host. She'll work her way out of debt and prove everybody wrong in the mean time.]
