Chapter 24 ~ Is This Really Happening?

"Ahhh this is the life..." I said, floating on my back in the indoor pool.

"What temperature is this set too Ash?" Seth looked at me.

"I think 28 degrees." I said not stopping floating on my back. "You can change it if you want."

Seth nodded and made his way over to a little information pad that sat by the pools edge. He tapped on 'temperature settings' and changed the temperature to 23 degrees. He swam to the middle of the pool and went underwater.

I felt hands grab my waist and pull me in the air.

"Seth!" I screamed. "Put me down!"

He had me in his arms with one supporting my back and the other cuffed under my knees. We looked deep into eaxh others eyes and everything stood still.

"Look Ashley..." Seth started not taking his eyes off mine. "I-I really like you. A-And after everything that we've been through... This is what I want..."

He leaned in closer to me, our faces inches apart. My breaths were quickening and I could feel my heart beating out of my chest. Our lips brushed together and we pulled apart ever so slightly, just so we could only just see into each thers eyes. He was testing the waters to see if this is what I want. But I didn't.

"I-Is th-th-this really h-happening?" I whispered.

"It is if you wants it too..." Seth whispered back.

That was all that needed to be said before I broke the 'so close' awkwardness and made it 'a thing'. I moved closer massaging our lips together. His tongue slipped into mine and they massaged together. The passion from everything just came out - everything with Semara, Bailey and Piper etc.

I pulled away, looking deep into his eyes, searching them for any sign of doubt.

"B-But is this what you want?" I asked, whispering.

He pecked my cheek, his lips lingering there for a moment.

"Yes," he said pulling back to see my reaction.

I smiled, a shy smile. "Good... Cause I want it too..."

He smirked and hugged me. We stayed in that position until we were ready to get out of the pool.

After hopping out of the pool we went to have showers. We both took the lifts and went seperate ways. I reached my closet and opened the door, stepping into my room. Before going into the ensuite, I grabbed a pair of comfy yoga pants and a plain crop top. I made my way into the ensuite. There were shampoo and conditioner bottles in the shower along with soap, towels and some face wash. I turned on the tap and undressed, hopping in the shower, letting the warm water flow over my body. I washed my hair, face and body.

I couldn't stop thinking about what had happened down at the pool. How long had Seth felt that way? Are we both ready for this? Is it going to wreck our friendship? With all these things running through my head, I came to the conclusion that if we weren't ready, we would know.

I hopped out of the shower and dressed in the yoga pants and crop top. I hung up the towel and chucked my clothes in the basket just outside my room, which was for dirty clothes. I then made my way over to my new laptop that sat on the desk in the room, taking it with me down a million stair cases and finally finding the lounge room with a massive plasma screen TV. Seth was already sitting on one of the long corner couches, probably updating his facebook status.

Typical.

I rolled my eyes and sat next to him, curling my feet up underneath me. I opened the laptop and had to put in some codes to get into the actual program. Once that was done, I opened up the FBI program and looked for any missions or new updates.

There was nothing but some updates saying not to trust Bailey and Seth.

"Hey check this out." we both said at the same time.

I chuckled. "You first."

"Ok."

Seth moved his phone so it was in my view. On the screen there was a picture of Piper and Bailey kissing, with their arms around each other. The caption read 'Can't believe I didn't realise how much I loved his girl before!' it was dispayed on Bailey's instagram page. I rolle my eyes.

"Ok now you." Seth said motioning for me to show him what I was going to show him.

I moved my laptop onto Seth's lap and showed him the message. It just read 'Piper O'donnel and Bailey Parker are not welcome in FBI forces anymore due to confidential reasons.'

"Woah so they really are getting shut out from everything!" Seth exclaimed.

"I guess." I shrugged.

"How long do you think until they find us?" Seth asked.

"Hard to say, I guess we just need to wait it out." I said.

Seth grabbed my hand and pulled me up off the couch.

"Let's go explore the house," he said."I found something I want to show you..."
