Chapter 21 ~ The Streets

Ashley's POV

I hopped out of my car and noticed that the others weren't here yet. Good. I heard screaming from the dark alley. I ran and went flat on the wall and peeked into the alley. A teenage girl was being held up by 3 men, I pinned her to the wall.

"So where's the money?" Guy #1 asked.

"I-I don't know. Please! I don't want any trouble!" She whaled.

"Look we did your fathers dirty work so where's the money?" Guy #2 asked.

"I-I really don't know!" She screamed.

"Look, we'll let you go if you just give us the money!" Guy #3 said.

"Bull Shit!" I said and came out from behind the wall.

I walked up to the first guy.

"Who the fuck are you?" He said.

"Your worst nightmare!" I answered.

I punched him in the face, knocking him out cold. Guy #2 ran up to me and took a swing at me but I ducked at kicked him in the gut. Guy #3 was stunned but came at me, I punched him in the chest and he fell onto the ground.

"RUN!" I yelled at the girl.

"Thank you so much!" She said before disappearing into the night.

I heard footsteps behind me. I grabbed my gun and turned around, pointing it at the people who made the noise. Bailey and Piper.

"Well, well, well. Look who it is! Sorry but you missed t-" I started.

I heard someone get up off the ground and I grabbed my knife. I threw it at guy #2s leg who tried to run at me, but fainted when he saw the knife dig half way threw his leg.

"-them!" I finished and turned back around to face them.

I paced around them, circling them. "Sooo, where's Seth? Did you break it to him yet?"

"We did..." Piper said looking down.

"And how'd he take it?" I asked, stopping right in front of them.

"He moved out to HQ," Bailey said.

There was a minute of silence before Bailey spoke and he took a step forward.

"Look, Angel, I-We are very sor-"

"STOP!" I screamed. "If some little shit says sorry one more fucking time I'm going to start a fight and I'm being so fucking serious! Because you will NEVER AND I MEAN NEVER be able to apologise enough for what you have done!"

"Well, so are we! We are soo so-" Piper started.

Before she could finish I went over to her and went for a punch but she ducked and grabbed my arm, twisting it and if I hadn't done an amazing backflip she would've dislocated it. Before I knew it Bailey was in on the action too. I was blocking punches left, right and centre. I threw a kick at Piper and got her in the cheek. I went for a punch on Piper but Bailey blocked it and took over. I punched him but he blocked it and punched me but I blocked it. I kicked him in the gut sending him stumbling back but not falling over.

"Look Ang- Ashley!" he said and blocked a punch. "Stop this, we can figure this out!"

"'Figure this out' my ass!" I retaliated.

I kick him in the sides and he fell over. I quickly grabbed the knife out of guy #2 and went to hold it at his throat but when I turned back he was gone. I whipped my head around to look behind me but could a face full of fist and was pinned against the wall with my feet well above the ground.

Ouch!!

Memories of the ni

As soon as I looked into Bailey's eyes, he knew he'd done the wrong thing. In that time of relization I had just enough time to wriggle out of his grasp, grab the knife and pin him against the wall.

"You wouldn't kill me!" Bailey said, sounding cocky.

"Well I sure am fucking thinking about it!" I said.

"Don't do it Ash!" Piper paniced.

"Why?! So you can fuck him tonight!?" I asked, letting Bailey drop to the ground.

"Ha yeah! Duh!" Piper said and smirked at Bailey who smirked back.

Bailey got up and kicked my leg. I looked at him and kicked him back. I went to punch him but he blocked it and went to punch me. I ducked and kicked his stomach. He stumbled backwards, winded from the kick. I pulled out the gun from my leggings and aimed it at him.

"You wouldn't kill me!" he said again. "Not after everything we've been through."

"What have we been through that's true?" I screamed and looked at Piper. "Huh?"

"Funny you should say that!" Piper said smirking again.

"Funny I should say what?" I said now pointing the gun at her.

"Everything was a lie," Bailey said. "Everything, I don't love you! Never did!"

"You basterd!" I said putting my finger on the trigger, getting ready to pull it.

"Yup sure am! Especially after going behind your back with Piper for MONTHS!" He said.

"Try years," Piper said.

"Years?" I said. "Come on give it to me how long?"

"4 years..." I heard Bailey mutter.

"4 fucking years?" I said looking . "4. FUCKING. YEARS?"

I felt hands pulled me onto the wall and punching me repetitavely. I screamed and screamed. I looked over his shoulder I saw Piper lying on the ground, uncontious but still alive.

I heard a gun shot and was let go instantly.

Am I dead?

Is this a dream?

"Are you ok?" I heard a familiar voice.

Seth!

"I am now!" I said getting up off the ground. "Took your time?"

"Oh I was here - I heard everything!" He said looking down.

I grabbed him in a hug. "I'm so sorry Seth!"

"You shouldn't be sorry!" He said and gestured to Bailey and Piper. "They should be!"

"I know I can't even believe it!" I exclaimed. "But... No one fucks with me and gets away with it!"

"I know, I have a plan!" Seth said. "And your not going to believe the information I'm about to leak to you!"

He rubbed his hands together and gave me a smirk. I was intrigued...
