Chapter 9 ~ Semara HQ

Ashley's POV

We were all in the car driving home after a long day. I had had English last after Maths and enjoyed it more than I thought I would. We'd all agreed to have a swim in the pool when we got back to the house.

Piper turned off the ignition and we all got out. I grabbed my bag and swung it over my shoulder. We went up the stairs and I went into our bedroom to put down my bag. I grabbed out some of the books I'd used today that I wouldn't use tomorrow and replaced some new books that I would use tomorrow.

I went over to my wardrobe and picked out a turquoise ruffle bikini top and bottoms that would show my abs and picked up a beach towel. I changed into them and chucked on a see through crop top over the top. I went into the bathroom and let my hair fall down my back to my bum and took off my makeup. I didn't need much makeup usually so I don't bother with much.

I went into the kitchen and grabbed an apple and my favourite vitamin water and went outside to the pool. I took a seat next to Bailey on a deck chair and lay back, relaxing.

I finished my apple and took a sip of my water. I took off my crop top and dived into the pool followed by Bailey and Piper. I popped up above the water and flipped my hair back out of my face.

Bailey grabbed me by the waist and pulled me closer. We kissed and I wrapped my arms around him. Putting my head on his chest I sighed. Things could not get better than this. I ducked under the water holding my breath. I opened my ears and spotted a blurry figure. Bailey. I swam into the middle of the pool with Bailey following. When he caught up, he held me in his arms. With him I always felt safe.

"So how was your day?"

He asked with care in his eyes.

"Well apart from the Aaron incident... it was pretty good. But how was your day?"

"It was great, I got to spend most of the day with my favourite girl and met a lot of new people!"

"That's good!"

I ducked under the water again and did a handstand. I felt someone tickle my feet. I was very ticklish, unfortunately. I got back up and saw Bailey standing right beside me. I splashed him with water.

"Hey!"

"What?! You tickled me, I could've kicked you!"

"W-W-Well I-I-"

He splashed me back with water and I chased after him. I kept splashing him and he kept splashing me. When I caught up I splashed him and felt hands around my waist pulling me up out of the water. Below me I saw Bailey holding me up above his head.

"I'm gonna throw you!"

"I don't think you can! I'm too heavy!"

"We both know I'm capable of throwing you!"

"Please don't!"

"I'm gonna!"

I felt some kind of release as he threw me across the pool.

"NNNOO-"

Then I hit the water. I was still under the water when I felt arms around me pulling me up. I opened my eyes and met Bailey's. His icy blue eyes focused on mine. I was in his arms with my whole body above the water. I leant in and kissed him. I wrapped my arms around his neck and deepened the kiss. I pulled away.

"I wouldn't trust me right now I could drop you any second."

"I trust you, but if you drop me I'm pulling you under!"
