Moving On

Chapter 10 "The Woods"

I walked for about 30 minutes until I reached it. The woods. It was almost night and the wind got stronger. I found the parking lot we parked at and I saw the way we entered the woods. I started walking threw the parking lot till I found the trees we entered at... there was nothing holding my back but myself. I took step forward and continued on after that.

The wind blew harder and I was cold. My body started to freeze but I kept walking. The leaves started falling one by one and soon I could feel his hand in mine and we were running...

We were running threw the woods and the leaves fell down like crazy. I saw the moon threw the storm of leaves. It was freezing but I didn't care. I couldn't think of anything because he was right beside me. We smiled at each other and kept running. We stopped and looked all around us. He still had a huge smile on his face and I did as well. We were still holding hands and that made me feel safe. At that moment we looked at each other and both came in together for a kiss. I felt free. He then let go of my hand and bolted for a direction yelling "catch me if you can"! I smiled and ran but he was to fast. I think we ran for what seemed like hours till I lost him. My smile faded and I was not worried. I then yelled "Jason"!

Jason: Yeah?

He came from behind with a huge smile.

Me: I thought I'd had lost you?

He ran and picked me up and spun me around and with that another kiss. He let me go and we both feel in to the leaves. We smiled at each other and held hands looking past the storm of clouds at the sky. He sat up and I did to.

Jason: Do you like to copy me?

He was joking and I giggled. We both got up and looked around us once more. We both ran this time with his hand it mine.

We reached a fence telling us it was danger ahead. We didn't care and jumped over the fence. We ran together, again with his hand in mine. Then everything fell apart. We ran down a hill and it just got steeper. He tripped forward and I came with. We  were falling down the hill and hit everything on the way down. I tried to stop but I couldn't...

I woke up laying on the ground covered in leaves. It was pitch black and cold as ever. I could see my breath and nothing else but trees. I felt my face and I knew I had been crying. I had always seen or remebered parts of that horrible night but not like that. It felt real.

I had no were to turn to and I was lost. I quickly picked a direction and kept walking. These woods had to end some time... right?
