Did I love him? I knew that I liked him but did I really truly love Drake? He just stared at me waiting for some kind of answer to his question "Did I love him"? The silence meant I was hiding something so I could guess what he thought my answer was.
Me: I...I...really don't have a clue?
Drake: So... you don't know if you love me?
Me: Well, I-
He cut me off.
Drake: I'm not expecting you to say yes Ellie. I just really didn't know what to do after I heard you say that...
The silence went on and we started walking again.
Drake: What if I told you that maybe I loved you back?
I stopped again. I looked at him and what if he did? I hate the What If game.
Me: I don't really again don't have a clue?
Drake: Well... what if we went on a date?
Was he asking my out or are we still playing the What If game? AHHH! I am so confused!
Me: Well... I might say yes.
He gave me a crooked smile and I returned one back. We starting walking and at this pace we were going to be late. I tucked my hair behind my ears because that is my habbit when I'm nervous. We just kept walking and the only sound was the cars passing and our footsteps. He broke it.
Drake: Then I am going to take that maybe. Would you want to go out sometime?
I knew this was coming and I had an answer but was it the right one? He just stared at me waiting for an answer. I made up my mind.
Me: Sure.
He gave another crooked smile and we continued to walk.
Drake: Where would you... want to go?
All this sounded really corny but I guess it was cute.
Me: Ummm... Movies?
Drake: Perfect. Time?
Me: Tonight at 8?
I thought he would say no to doing it tonight.
Drake: Sure!
I never thought Drake and I would amount to more then friends. I was happy and The smile lit my face the whole way there.
