Dear Jared
It's raining today,
But I'm still waiting
in the poring rain,
my umbrella up high for this letter to not get wet.
People walk by
and I bet they are wondering what that crazy girl is doing under such weather,
Well, I'm doing the same thing I was doing last week and the same thing I'll be doing next week.
Waiting.
Anyways I like the rain,
the way it just falls from the sky and washes our world, trying to chase the horrors and wounds right out of its ground,
but sadly some wounds are to deep to be healed, even with a big wash,
they need time,
lots and lots of time.
Even so, I'll wait, I'll wait till you're back
because I know you'll come
Still yours,
Jane
