⭐︎Prologue - Prophecy of the Zodiacs⭐︎

It was a typical morning for everyone in Camp Half Blood. Everyone except for a certain 15 year old son of Poseidon, who was about to get a morning surprise.

"Rise and shine, Pisces." A 17 year old brown haired boy said, randomly appearing in the Poseidon cabin.

"What the-" Pisces started, rubbing his eyes and looking to his left to find the face of his favourite cousin staring at him. "AHHHH! Oh my gods, Scorpio, you scared me!"

Scorpio smirked. "I got you good, cousin."

Pisces yawned and got out of bed. "You can't just shadow travel into my room whenever you want!"

"Oh yes I can." Scorpio walked up to the door and reached for the doorknob. Before he left, he turned to face Pisces and said, "Everyone else is outside for breakfast. You'd better wake up if you don't want to miss it."

Pisces grumbled, then put on a random t-shirt he took out from his closet. He got out of his cabin and headed for the dining pavilion. On the way, he ran into a certain daughter of Demeter, who was very obviously looking forward to breakfast.

"Morning, Taurus." Pisces greeted her.

"What's up, Fish Boy?" She said, giving him a playful nudge with her elbow.

"Just tired, I guess." Pisces yawned again. "Scorpio shadow travelled into my cabin this morning."

"So he did." Taurus mused. She turned to Pisces and said, "He did that to me last summer. The rest of my half-siblings got really scared." She looked down at his shirt. "You wore your shirt the wrong way around."

"I did?" Pisces asked, looking down at his shirt. Indeed he had. "Dang it!" He decided not to care, and followed Taurus to the dining pavilion.

Pisces sat down at his cabin's table, which was deserted. It was pretty normal, considering the fact that the Big Three didn't usually have children.

Halfway through breakfast time, Pisces' four other best friends made their way over to his table.

"Good morning, Pisces." Capricorn said, sitting opposite to him.

"Morning, Cappy." Pisces replied. "Aren't we not allowed to sit at a table that isn't your cabin's table?"

Capricorn thought for a while, then stood up. "I'm not sitting." She said.

Cancer stood beside Pisces. "Hey guys."

"Hi Cancer." Taurus said. "What's up?"

"Besides the sky, the chances that something's going to go wrong." said Cancer as his expression darkened.

Taurus tilted her head in confusion. "What do you mean by that?"

"I just have the feeling that something will go wrong today." Cancer explained. "It was a dream, or a vision."

Just then, Scorpio looked up and said, "Oh look, guys, it's Rachel."

"Rachel who?" Pisces asked.

"How many Rachels do you know in this world?" Taurus asked, turning back and shouting, "Hi Rachel!"

Rachel Elizabeth Dare, the Oracle of Delphi, was making her way to the camp from Half Blood Hill.

"Hi everyone!" She said, waving at the campers. She was greeted by a number of campers.

Chiron, Camp Half Blood's activities director, made his way to Rachel to greet her personally. "Good morning, Rachel. How are you?"

"Doing great," Rachel replied. "I think I'll go and-" She gasped, and green mist started swirling around her. She opened her eyes, which were now glowing. Emerald green smoke came out from her mouth when she spoke. All the campers turned around in shock. Rachel began to speak.

"The twelve zodiac spirits have come down to this world,

All inhabiting six boys and six girls,

Demigods fear that something is up,

For the fall of the signs is the fall of Olympus.

From the west to the east, the twelve must go

To find the thirteenth zodiac, who lays low,

Ilium's cursed prophetess will be their guide

To reach the place where a castle once was, up a high.

A new threat, prepared to take a hike,

The shortest day is when they will strike,

If none of the above is taken to heart,

War will arise when the murderer departs."

Rachel collapsed, and the dining pavilion went into a stage of chaos.

"Zodiac spirits?"

"They don't mean astrology signs, do they?"

"Are they even real?"

"Fall of Olympus?"

"A murderer?"

"What threat would want to take a hike?"

"Is this another 'Great Prophecy'?"

"That sounded really serious." Cancer said to his friends.

Scorpio nodded. "No lie. We're probably in the age of another great prophecy."

"This has nothing to do with the Underworld going in chaos, right?" Capricorn asked, looking at Scorpio.

The son of Hades shook his head. "Nothing's gone wrong down there. Why do you ask?"

The daughter of Athena looked up to face all of her friends. "That might make sense, right? The Underworld- no, actually, Tartarus is a long way away from here, and way down under too. That would make sense for a hike."

"Can we not talk about this?" Pisces asked. "This is not how I want my summer to start."

"Pisces is right." Taurus said. "It's the first day of the summer now. Let's go and have some fun in the sun and not worry about any of this."

"Sounds good." Her friends agreed.

And so they left the memory of this horrible prophecy behind and enjoyed the first week of their summer.

Little do they know, they really weren't taking this prophecy to heart.
