Cancer was sitting in his cabin reading a book. For some reason, he had a strange feeling that something was going to go wrong. He hated those strange feelings he had. He could never understand them.
He was still thinking about that strange feeling when Pisces came in.
"Hey there Pisces." Cancer said, not even looking up from his book.
"Hi!" Pisces invited himself inside. "I've never actually been into your cabin before." He picked up a ball he found lying on Cancer's bedside table and started tossing it into the air and catching it. "What's this?"
Cancer turned around to see what Pisces was talking about. "That? That's a pig ball. Be careful, though. If you drop it, it turns you into a-"
At that moment, Pisces dropped the pig ball. Smoke appeared out of nowhere, and a small pig now stood where Pisces stood.
"-pig." Cancer finished.
He sighed and looked down at the pig. "What am I supposed to do now?"
Pisces the pig said nothing. He leaped onto Cancer's bed, curled up into a ball, and looked at Cancer with his beady eyes.
Cancer sighed again and sat down on his bed as Pisces the pig curled up in his lap.
"Well crap, I have no idea how to change you back." Cancer told Pisces. Pisces tilted his head and kept staring at Cancer.
Just then, Lou Ellen Blackstone, the head counselor of the Hecate cabin, walked into the room.
"Hey there, Chase." She said.
Cancer grumbled. "How many times have I told you not to use my real name?"
"I don't know, I've never counted." Lou Ellen reached for another pig ball on Cancer's bedside table. "Found my secret stash, have you?"
"Yeah I have, and now my friend is a pig." Cancer set Pisces down on his bed and got up. "Can you fix him by any chance?"
Lou Ellen looked at Pisces, who was now staring at a picture on the wall. "I think you should keep him like this."
"What?! No!" Cancer was starting to get frustrated. "Come on, Lou Ellen, please?" Then he added, "I feel like something's going to go wrong if he doesn't turn back."
There was a mischievous twinkle in Lou Ellen's eyes. "Maybe I'll think about it." She said, turning to leave, before opening the door and running away.
Cancer decided to chase her. "Oh my gods, is it really that hard?!"
"You're going to have to chase me first!" Lou Ellen laughed playfully.
"Oh gods, not this again." Cancer decided to give up the chase. He returned to his cabin to find that Pisces was missing.
"Pisces?" Cancer searched everywhere in the cabin, from the lofts upstairs (I did my research and the Hecate cabin has them) to the drawers in his bedside table, just in case Lou Ellen may have secretly stashed Pisces in them before she left.
Capricorn had arrived at the Hecate cabin for cabin inspection when she found Cancer sitting on his bed reading a book about spells while mumbling to himself about when it all went wrong.
"Are you okay, Cancer?" She asked.
Cancer looked up at her. "No. Pisces turned himself into a pig and I don't know how to fix him, Lou Ellen won't help me and now Pisces is gone. I'm just going to sit here and read this book and find a stupid spell that will help me turn pigs back into humans while you do cabin inspection."
