The three Mysticals

Chapter 11

" Carl! " Jessica shook him to wake him up " Carl! Get up! "

" let me sleep. " he shoved away Jessica's hand and changed his sleeping position.

" oh God! What I'm gonna do with him. " she aerated but then she smirked as if something stroke her mind. She snapped her finger and a bucket full of water appeared on Carl's head hanging in the air then she again snapped her finger and the bucket turned upside down pouring all the water on him. As the water fell he woke up yelling " oh God! " all drenched.

" I'll kill you Jessi. " he bawled.

" later but first listen to me. I've been trying to wake you up for so long. Ariana isn't back yet, it's getting three in the morning. "

" she must be with Kevin. " he said irritatingly getting from the bed.

" No she isn't. I went there. The hall was empty no one was there. Let's go find her. I'm really worried. " 

" okay. "

" what are you waiting for. Let's go. " she said seeing Carl standing in the position.

" like this? " he glowered her.

" I think you should go and change first. "

First he went to Kevin's house but it was locked. He has been almost to all the places but couldn't find her

" Where she's gone. " Carl huffed and he was about to move but he saw that someone was sitting alone on the bench in the park. Carl could only see that person's back from there. He went inside and said " Ani! "

She was looking down but as he called her she looked up tears were cascading her face and her nose and cheeks adopted pink colour because she was crying for so long. She said sobbing " Carl! " and jumped from her seat hugging him and started crying more harder.

" what happened Ani? " he asked and hugged her back. She didn't said anything, just crying. Carl released her from the hug " you look terrible." but her sob worsened. He sat her down on the bench " look I'm here. Stop crying, tell me what happened. Did Kevin did anything wrong? "

" No. It's all me. " she sniffed " why me Carl? why me? Why all these things happen to me?Whenever something good comes my way, why destiny snatches it from me? Why? "

" but what happened? "

She said choking " Kevin proposed me. "

" what! "

" yeah. I really love him Carl, I really love him but you know I can't tell him. There's no place for our love in that world. I said no, I said I hate him but I don't, I......" and she started sobbing again.

" Ani I'm really sorry I can't do anything in this. Kevin is a really good guy. I would be much happier if you two will be together. "

" but that's never gonna happen. "

" but you shouldn't give up on your love like that. I'll tell you one thing. I've never seen you smile like I've seen you in these few days. You've changed. I was thinking I'm getting back my old Ariana. "

" if I'll accept his love. Vanessa won't let him live. "

" I don't know. I would never want you or Kevin to get in any trouble so I wanna say that just listen to your heart. Wherever your heart leads you go there. "

" thanks Carl. I'm feeling much better now. "

" Ani I'll get angry with you. "

" what? "

" thanks. Am I not your friend. "

She smiled " you are my bestest friend. You've been always there for me. "

" and I'll be in future also. "

" one thing. Don't tell anything about this to Jessi. You know her how short tempered she is. "

" I swear. "

" Ani! Carl! " Jessica called out entering into the park.

" talk of the devil and it appears. " Carl commented in a low voice.

" Ani what were you doing here. I've been searching you like hell and Carl if you found her then why didn't you informed. "

" Jessi I'm really sorry. I just. stopped to....." Ariana paused to think as what excuse to make " glance at the sky. Look it's gorgeous. "

" really! " she looked up at the sky then again at Ariana " it seems ordinary to me. As it is always. There is nothing special in the sky. "

" not for you because even beautiful things seems to you ugly. " Carl taunted.

" I'm not talking to you so you just shut up. "

" Ani! We're you crying? "

" umm... I was missing mom. "

" I know you miss her so much but we are here with you. "

" yes. You tow are best in the world. "

Vanessa was anxiously pacing in her room infront of the arm chair in which Andrew was sitting she humphed " It's been a week and there's no news what are they doing. "

" hope I knew. " Andrew said.

" I want those mysticals as soon as possible. They are taking too much time, until now they must have found Birkenhead. " and laid back on other armchair massaging her temples.

" Paris is a big city there is no doubt why they are taking so much time. "

" I don't know. Send someone behind them and ask them to bring their tracks. "

" okay. " He got up from the place where he was seated and left the room. When Andrew was out of earshot she started talking to herself " there is something wrong. Something bad is going to happen. I have a strong feeling. "
