The three Mysticals

The seating area for the restaurant was arranged around the pool which was neither small nor too big. The open air French eating place was absolutely amazing with its classy and posh decorations. The soft romantic music thronged in its atmosphere. Ariana and Kevin stationed themselves on one of the tables.

" May I have your order. " waiter asked them courteously.

" yeah. " Kevin replied. " two Salad niçoise and for dessert apple crumble."

" Anything else sir. "

" No " Kevin replied and the waiter smiled and went away.

" do you like this place. " he asked timidly.

" It's beautiful. I love it. " Ariana grinned.

" I'm glad that you liked it. "

There was one thought going on in Ariana's mind that she wanna ask Kevin as he was the only person whom she knew in this city and could trust. She decided to ask him about Hallam Birkenhead as it was important for her to know about him. Yesterday She delivered the message about the wrong address to Vanessa and in return she replied that it's only thing she found about him and if it's not right then they should find his actual address and reach him no matter how much time it takes.

" theirs one question I wanna ask you. " she hesitated.

" yeah "

" do you know Hallam Birkenhead? "

" yeah. He's a famous writer. I've read many of his books. "

" So, do you know where he lives? "

" that I don't know but internet should. " he said and took out his phone from his pocket and started typing.

" what are you doing? " she baffled and lept a bit from her chair leaning her stomach against the table infront with palm slapped on the table to see what he was doing with the phone.

" here. His address. " He turned the phone towards Ariana for her to see. " look. It's old orchard road. " he pointed at the screen where it was written.

She gave an unsatisfied expresion " it's wrong. "

" how? " he placed his phone on the table.

" yesterday we visited this place but he doesn't live there. "

" Sorry I couldn't help you. "

" you don't have to be sorry. "

" internet must be showing his old address. Is it really important for you to meet him? "

She swithered " it is but-"

" here's your order. " waiter cut in and he laid down two bowls of soup on the table and went away.

" it smells delicious. " she sniffed.

" and tastes even better. " he said picking up his spoon.

They both were busy enjoying the flavours of the salad nicoise until someone interrupted them.

" hey Kevin. " A blonde girl stood beside their table.

" Diana. " he said with cheerless expresion.

" So, she is your new girlfriend, ha. " she taunted looking at Ariana.

" I'm not his-"

" I know you left my dad's company and got another job but what happened to your choice Kevin. " she jeered " So lowbrow. " giving her a look.

" Shut up! " Kevin bawled out at Diana.

" why you getting so mad Kevin?Have I said anything wrong?
"

" yes, and first look at yourself, you stingy crass. " Ariana raised from her seat.

" what did you say? " she humphed.

" it's obvious that you don't have a brain but don't you have ears also. "

" At least I have a beautiful face. Not like yours like a spook, even after applying makeup. " Diana tauted.

Ariana was about to shoot words against this but Kevin came to Ariana's side and stopped her. " Ariana! Let's leave. She is just brusque. " but Diana was not ready to end the war. She picked the glass of water kept on the table and hurled it at Ariana's face " now you look better. " then she turned to leave.

This act of her's raged Ariana. She smacked her hands on the table and after few seconds she picked the soup bowl from their and turned and stomped towards Diana " wait! " she called out and as she stopped. Ariana poured whole soup on her head which cascaded her face. " now who look better. "

Diana clenched her fist tightly and tempered " how dare you." putting forward her hand trying to grab Ariana but she snapped her finger and the serving trolley held by one of the waiters released itself from his hand and slammed into Diana, splashing her into the pool.

Everyone gathered around the pool and in that chaos Kevin pulled Ariana out of the restaurant but before that they kept the money for the food they ordered on the table.

As they came out they both burst into laughter." that was hilarious. " Kevin chuckled

" she got what she deserved. "

" yeah. "

They both continued laughing for minutes. " I'm sorry. " Kevin said changing his tone from happy to serious.

" for what? "

" About Diana. She said so ill about. "

" it's none of your fault. Let's not talk about her. "

" yes. She already ruined our lunch. " he said in disappointment way but something bashed his mind which changed his expression " If you are free. Wanna tour Paris. "

" yeah sure. "

" so let's go to Eiffel Tower for which Paris is famous. "

Kevin stopped a taxi and opened the car door for Ariana and then after her he sat and they drove away.

" wow Paris looks so alluring from here. " she glared the night look of the city from the top floor of the Eiffel Tower. It looked as if someone had sprinkled glitters over the place.

" I knew you'll love this. " he was leaning against the railing of the floor beside Ariana. " well at least our day ended well. "

" yeah. " she smiled at him. " and I wish Carl and Jessi could be here to see this. "

" don't worry. Now you can come anytime here with them. "

Talking of them she realised that she totally forgot that they must be waiting for her at home.

" Kevin I really want to stay but I have to go. sorry. "

" it's okay. I'll drop you back. "
