The three Mysticals

Chapter 17

" this is my house. " he said pointing at it.

The place his house was situated on was amazing. It was built infront of a small lake in the midst of the wild. Jacob opened the fence gate and entered in. After moving three or four steps was the house door. House consist of a small front room with a kitchen at one side and the furniture in the front room looked dusty and outmoded. Between the living room area and the kitchen stairs were going up to the first floor which had room on either sides.

" rooms are upstairs. " Jacob said and along with him all of them climed the stairs to the first floor.

" girls can sleep in my moms room and boys and I will in my. " and he opened the door of the room on the right side " Jessica and Ariana this is your room. "

" okay. " they both moved in and locked the door.

" well, room is not bad. At least we've got a bed to sleep. " she threw herself on the bed " good night. "

" good night! " she replied back and flicked the switch off and then laid herself beside Jessica.

Hours passed but she was not able to sleep, she was continuously chnaging her sleep position. She sat straight and looked that Jessica was snoring. She moved out of bed and paced to the window and stared at the sky covered with stars and it's very own night bulb, moon.

While looking out of the window her eyes fell on someone sitting alone near the lake. She crept out of the room and then the house and stood behind the person whom she saw from the window.

" can't sleep. " Ariana said.

The person who was sitting there turned his head to see who was standing behind " Ariana. "

" yeah. " she sat beside him.

" you also? "Jacob asked.

" just my mind is not free. "

" I can understand getting the mysticals is not an easy task. "

" I'm tensed about my friends. I don't want to risk anyone of there life's. " she frowned.

" you are lucky to have friends like them. I've spend my whole life alone in this forest with my mom and my brother. My father died when I was young. But I'm happy with my life but in these few weeks I've been so alone. Addison, he is my brother. He and my mom went to the city to earn some money and give mom some medical help as she was living ill. " He took out a photograph from his pocket which had three persons one he himself, the other boy his brother Addison and a lady, her mother " I miss them. "

Ariana took the photograph from him and when she saw the picture of Addison her eyes popped out. It was the same person whom she killed. He was the one on whom she fired the death spell. That scene again played infront of her eyes. Her throat choked and her eyes soaked with that painful memory. She could see his body lying infront of her. She was so deep in her thoughts that she didn't realized that Jacob was sitting beside her.

" Ariana! What happened? " he shook her out of that imagination.

" nothing. " she said trying to hide her emotions and her suffering. How will she tell him that his brother for whom he is waiting will never return. How will he as he was murdered by her.

" do you know him? " he asked looking at Ariana's face as she was staring the picture.

" what? " Ariana said, dumbstruck.

" my brother Addison. Do you know him? Have you ever met him in the city? "

Ariana couldn't say anything and how could she and how will she tell him what happened to his brother. She remained silent just shook her head that she didn't know him.

" okay. " he said.

" why didn't you went to the city with your mom and brother. You live her alone. You all must go their and settle. "

" it is the safest place according to my mom. She want us to be free from the evils of the city She always says that this jungle is our home and it will protect us. "  he stared at the lake.

" oh. "

" can I ask you something? "

" sure. " she replied.

" if you don't mind can I accompany you to the mystic island? "

" no! it's dangerous. "

" you don't have to worry about me and I know the exact place from where this forest separate itself from the mystic island. "

" but.... "

" please Ariana. " he cut her off " and I'm not going there alone. Including me their will be five and we can have each others back too. "

" what do I say? " she was not able to decide.

" I know it's a vicious place. I never would have gathered a courage to go their. Actually I don't want to stay alone more."

" okay. " she finally agreed with him.
