The three Mysticals

Chapter 28

" everything is set. " Vanessa gave an evil smile.

With white powder like substance a star was drawn on the floor of the forest. At the upper tip of the star crown was placed and on the lower two tips wand and cape.

She waved her wand and generated a blue light with it and then she started drawing with that light over the star already drawn on the ground and slowly that white powder turned into blazing blue. With her wand she gestured the star to go up and it gradually left the ground moving upwards along with the mysticals and didn't stopped until it was in the mid air. Then it started squeezing and the three mysticals slowly came closer.

" Vanessa! " Ariana yelled as she just arrived there along with her friends. She saw that she already was half through the process. 

" now no one can stop me. You are late. " Vanessa swinged her wand, which coalesced the three mysticals and after that it turned into a blazing blue ball, a huge one. She performed the final step and hit that ball hard with a flash from her wand transferring all its powers to herself. Soon that ball blasted and Vanessa fell down.

" what happened? " Kevin got up as all of them ducked down when that blast occurred " is she dead? "

" don't know. " Ariana moved closer to look at her and Vanessa suddenly springed up

" no I'm not. Now it's time for you all to die. " and she gave a sinister laugh. " Now I'm invincible. I'm the greatest. "

" no matter how powerful you become. I'll always stand in your way. " Ariana raged.

" stupid girl. You are like an ant to me. "

Jacob pulled Ariana and muttered " this is not the right time to fight we have to proceed astutely. "

" But...." before Ariana could say anything Jacob created a fog around covering almost half of the area.

When that fog lifted no one was there except Vanessa " you cowards flew away. " Vanessa shrieked " how long will you hide from me. "

" why wasn't teleportation working? " Jacob huffed. As when he created that fog to vanish from there. They tried to teleport themselves but it didn't worked. So they sprinted from there. They were still in the same forest but not near Vanessa.

" maybe that blast damaged the portal. " Jessica said.

" Ani. Now whatever we have to do, we have to do it wisely. " Jacob stated.

" you are right "Ariana nodded " but how? "

Kevin held her antarms and looked in her eyes " close your eyes, breath and think with a clear mind. You'll get the way. "

She nodded, took a deep breath and closed her eyes. At first she couldn't focus on anything and then her brain took her to the mystic island and showed her a thing she has seen there. A quote written on the glass of the sword with which she made a cut on her hand, which appeared after she placed back the sword in the case " nothing can be invulnerable except God and if anything is, it's invincibility can be broken. So, whenever you need this sword you have to ask for it with your heart as now it is yours. "

With her eyes still closed she straightened both her forearms with open palms and said in her heart " I'm in need of you. Come to me. " and the other second then the sword emerged in her hand.

" how did you do that? " Jessica asked as she was looking at the sword in Ariana's hand with an open mouth.

Ariana smiled " We can defeat her with this sword. Let's go. " and she moved her foot but Jessica yanked her back " wait, how? "

" I'll tell you later. We have less time. "

" kev take my wand. " Ariana handed him.

" what? Why are you giving it to me. " he asked.

" you can use your powers only with a wand. Use this to protect yourself. "

" I don't know any spells. "

" just say screen me with this wand in your hand. This is the most easiest one, though powerful. Only kids use this before they begin there spell lessons. Well, it's not even a kind of a spell. "

" I have no choice except to use this. " he frowned.

" Vanessa! " she called out. She was back but this time with the goal of war to win in her eyes. Ariana starred her like a warrior with the sword in her hand.

" oh, you are back. "

" Now it's time to end everything. "
She gestured with her hand and then the sand formed themselves into a giant man and then she ordered to attack them. The war between the good and bad started, firing spells at each other. A tornados of dust was fired at them by the giant sandman but after struggling for a while they could wane it. That forest of Paris turned into a battlefield of witches and wizards.

If Ariana has to stab her with that sword, she has to go near her without getting hurt herself but the question in her mind was how?

Vanessa shot at her but she somehow escaped it. In return Ariana fired a quiver of arrows at Vanessa. Though Ariana didn't have her wand but she can still perform magic with her hands. The arrows that Ariana fired didn't hurt her except two, one on her arm and other near her shoulder, which was now bleeding but that wound soon disappeared as if it was never there.

" do you really think this can kill me. " she removed the arrows from her body and chuckled and then fired at Ariana and she couldn't think of anything expect using the sword to defend herself and it worked. This time Vanessa instead of firing at Ariana she shot in the air and a weighty rock appeared just above her head but before it could fell on her Kevin held her and they rolled aside together and that rock crashed the ground resulting a crater on it.

Vanessa sighed in disbelief.

Ariana scrambled to his feet and Kevin too " this is enough. why are you so scared of me? " Ariana said.

" me scared of you. " she cracked a laugh.

" then why are you so far. Come near me and do whatever you have to. "

" oh " Vanessa without even knowing what Ariana has planed in her head she started stepping forward with pride. On seeing her coming towards her, she tightened her grip on the sword. When she was just few steps away. Ariana without even wasting a second stabbed that sword in her stomach.

" ah! " Vanessa shrieked and then removed that sword which gave her more pain, she thought this wound will get healed by itself like the one with the arrow but nothing happened as she thought. She fell down on her knees with that sword still in her hand but her evilness didn't die even at the brink of death. Before taking her last breath she impaled Ariana with that sword.

It felt like the whole world paused. As if the earth stop spinning for that moment. On seeing that all eyes fell on the ground and jaws dropped.

As Ariana opened her eyes, she wasn't feeling any pain and saw that the sword wasn't stabbed in her body instead someone was standing infront of her like a shield who protected her. He fell back and Ariana held him and laid him down on the ground keeping his head on her lap " An..... Why..." she cried " why did you? "

" I said I'll tr...try to protect you, where I can be....because... " Andrew stammered because of the pain " I care for you. " he said his last words he drifted into an eternal sleep.
