A light tap sounded on the car window and Marley pried her eyes open, looking up, it was Steve, she went to get up but felt a weight on her chest and suddenly remembered the moments that had transpired moments before. Her face grew hot and she looked back at Steve only to realise he wasn't the only one, Nancy, Jonathan, Joyce, Hopper, Eleven and the boys all stood next to him looking through the car window.
Lucas was making kissy faces while Dustin and Will laughed, Nancy and Joyce were looking at the two girls with beaming smiles on their faces, their hands held up to their mouths like they were containing their mutual excitement, Jonathan had his camera out, no doubt taking pictures for a family album, Mike looked to be explaining something to Eleven and Hopper was just nodding approvingly, a big thumbs up held to the girl.
Marley flipped them off and Steve went to open the door. She mouthed 'Don't you dare!' and he stared at her, seemingly challengingly. The door handle clicked and opened, the sudden cold air seemed to wake Max up and she shot upright, her eyes first landing on Marley beneath her, then Steve and then the others standing just outside the now open car door.
Marley covered her face clearly embarrassed.
Steve chuckled before speaking, "Well, well, well, what do we have here?"
"Go away!" Marley whined, reaching for the door handle.
"Who confessed to who?" Lucas grinned leaning up against the car.
"Marley," Max shrugged and everyone blinked in surprise, Marley frowned, "Indirectly."
"Hey! Don't act so surprised!"
