Alli's POV
As soon as I reached the small high school my best friend Lauren started talking. "Omigosh Alli…” Speaking a mile a minute she informed me of the new boy. I didn’t even try to keep up. Apparently having your mother work in the front office had its perks because Lo always knew what was happening before everyone else.
Her beach-blonde hair fell in her face as she continued to speak. We had gained a new student and boy-crazy Lauren had already chosen him as her new fixation. She hadn’t even met him. He could be the biggest jerk in the world and Lauren would still be obsessing. Finally the first bell rang giving me an excuse to make an escape. Wouldn’t want to be late would we?
First period dragged on, boring as ever. Second period started the same way. That was, until he walked in. This mysterious new boy was stunning. His eyes were a beautiful grey- blue with a small ring or green tinging the outside. He was tan with a rare shade of brown hair to match. He turned and looked straight at me, his eyes boring into mine, as if he were staring into my soul. I felt a blush rising on my cheeks and reminded myself to look away.
“Hi I’m Landon. I’m the new student.” Even his voice was beautiful.
“Welcome welcome.” Mrs. Sprice chirped. “You may sit over there” she said gesturing to the far corner. As soon as Landon took his seat Mrs. Sprice jumped right back into her lesson.
