Allison's POV

Landon followed me home in his car. When I pulled into my driveway he pulled in next to me and stepped out of his vehicle. I didn’t say anything when he followed me inside because secretly I was hoping that he would.

I ran into the kitchen to grab some pain medication and when I walked back into my living room Landon was still standing awkwardly at the door. “You can sit down” I told him as I flopped into one of the arm chairs.

He walked over to the couch and sat down awkwardly.

“How did that vile break?” He asked me.

I took a deep breath. This was not a question I wanted to answer. He would think I had fallen off the deep end. He just sat there watching me expectantly. Finally I said “You promise not to call me crazy?”

He nodded.

“This is going to sound insane, but I had this weird feeling in my hand, like I had shocked someone or something, and then the glass exploded.” He didn’t say anything. “You think I’m making this up” I accused.

He looked me in the eye and said “I believe you” I was skeptical but he seemed like he was being honest.

“You don’t think I’m crazy?” I asked.

“I know you’re not” He said. “But after what I’m about to tell you, you may think that I am”
