MEET ELIZABETH

Also known as eacomiskey on Wattpad, I didn't go to school to be a writer, though maybe I should have because it has always been my true love. Nevertheless, I've learned a great deal in the past several years of working with professional editors. Between 2016-2018, I published four fantasy novels with a small press. During those years, I also wrote and published several small stories in periodicals and anthologies. In 2018, my story "Curmudgeon" won a Watty award and was sold as the first in a five book series to Scarsdale Publishing. They changed the title to "Some Monsters Never Die," and published it in 2019. The second book, "Some Legends Never Die" will be available in May, 2020. I've had several stories featured on Wattpad, won the #SoloTravel contest sponsored in partnership with Marriott, and was a 2019 ambassador's pick in the Open Novella Contest. I love a story with a fantastically quirky voice! 

When I'm not reading or writing, I'm tending to a brood of children, a flock of chickens, a dog, a cat, a corn snake, and various other animals that pass through my world. (The best was the wounded dove that would hang out on the dog's head.) My daughter and I do competitive chalk art events. She wins frequently. I never have. I love junk food, Supernatural, Converse sneakers, and all things Addams Family.
