Reacting to you being unironically funny

(If anyone doesn't know, when something is done unironically, it is done for a reason that is different from what actually happened, if that makes sense)

You were minding your own business doing work at you internship at SM Entertainment, when another staff member told you to deliver a note to the NCT 127 practice room. Your immediate response would have been "why can't you do it?" Or "why not just go tell them?" But you decided to say neither of those things as you did not want to get fired from a job in which you did not get paid.

You took the note wordlessly and walked up the stairs to the practice rooms.

"Apply for the internship" they said. "It'll be fun" they said. The only good thing about this, was that your boyfriend was there, and sometimes it was fun to see him while you worked. You approached the door and knocked twice before opening it, however literally no one moved form their positions, as if they didn't see you. You leaned against the doorway trying to decide if you should interrupt whatever they were doing, while tapping your foot impatiently against the floor.

FINALLY, someone looked up.

"Oh, hello Y/n"

You rolled your eyes.

"Thank you for acknowledging my existence as a person"

You said, in no way trying to be funny, although it made everyone laugh.
