You felt betrayed, but you also weren't sure if that was completely true. You had only just started going out, and your second date was in a few days. Someone told you that he's had four ex girlfriends already, and that he was kind of a player. He was very attractive, so you could understand if it was true, but you decided to wait until your second date to find out. After all, you hadn't talked about that stuff yet.

You spoke, and he looked up at you from across the table at the restaurant you were at.

"How many ex girlfriends have you had? Someone told me that you've had a lot, and I just don't want to get involved if you're that kind of person"

You spoke, looking down at your lap. He looked at you confused before taking your hand from across the table.

"Look, I don't know what you've heard, but I promise I only have good intentions. I've been in one other serious relationship, and it ended badly. I promise you I'm not a player if that's what you're thinking. I genuinely like you and want to get to know you better"

You nodded and smiled, happy that you didn't believe the lie right away.

He seemed like such a genuinely nice guy when you first met him, that you didn't believe the girl telling you about his cold side. I mean sure, he could look intimidating at times, but he didn't seem like the type to just drop someone at the tip of a hat. You'd been together for one month already, and your relationship was doing well.

On one of your walks in the park, he noticed you were spacing out.

"What's on your mind?"

You shook your head.

"It's not a big deal"

He wasn't buying it.

"Are you sure, you know you can talk to me"

He spoke, grabbing your hand as you continued walking. You sighed and came clean about what the person had told you. He looked shocked.

"I don't know why they would tell you that, I'm not that kind of person. I'm not planning on breaking up with you, don't listen to that"

Coincidentally, you were friends with his ex girlfriend back in Japan. She had no problem with you dating him, or at least that's what she told you. One day, you two were on FaceTime, and she told you a long story about how he's using you.

"Because you're a girl, and all guys like him want is someone to hit and quit. Trust me, I know"

You didn't believe her at first, but your relationship with Yuta seemed too good to be true. He was this handsome idol, and you were just a regular person. He wasn't even around right now, he was on tour in America, but you were able to talk to him about it on your daily FaceTime call.

"Why do you look so down? Are you lonely"

"No. well yes, but it's something else"

He waited for you to speak.

"Why did you ask me out? Like why are we actually dating?"

He looked at you confused.

"Because I love you, isn't it obvious"

"But why, Yuta? Out of all the people, why did you pick me"

"Where is this line of questioning coming from? Someone said something to you didn't they?!"
