Liam's POV
The next two days were torture. Two days of listening to my mom nag at me to learn the definition of a gentleman. There are thousands of different meanings, but the one that she makes me recite whenever I see her is, "A civilized, educated, or well mannered man." And I also said it with a British accent, because it's more fun.
I had to put up with two days without any form of technology. Without my computer or T.V. my life is pointless. Two days of not being able to talk to Mia.
The dinner was nice, a little awkward, but nice. As soon as Jay went into the house he snatched four slices if pizza and slammed himself in his room. So it was just Mia and me, which I wouldn't mind if she would have talked or even looked at me.
I still had one more day left of suspension and then I could go back and enjoy life again. I got a letter from Dave. I know, a letter? I didn't even know letters still existed, but is said:
Liam,
I heard that you punched Bracken. At first I laughed and thought it was funny. And then I heard a voice in my head saying maybe that wasn't very nice. So I screamed at the voice to get out of my room, because it was my little sister.
Liam, we have been friends since, um, four weeks ago when school started and I just wanna let you know that when everyone hates you and tells you that your a jerk. I will always have your back, or your face if Bracken wants to get revenge.
Okay this is boring now. Good bye.
I laughed at this and crumpled it up. Dave and Bracken definetly weren't my only friends. There was still the whole football team, and the baseball team. I thought about a few more options I might have if I was desprate enough, then Clara walked in.
"Hi Liam," she smiled showing her cute little baby teeth. I picked her up and put her in my lap, and she looked up at me with a confused expression. "Why you not go to school?" Her sweet little toddler voice always make me chuckle. Clara had a princess crown on and a Cinderella dress-up dress.
"Because I want to stay with you," I touched her nose and made her giggle.
"I love you Liam," she sighed and laid her head against my chest. I stroked her hair smiling and feeling happy to have at least one girl will say that to me, even if it is a little toddler and my sister.
"I love you too, Clara," I told her.
Her head shot up and she hollered, "You read me a book? Please please paleeese?" She begged and scrambled off my lap.
"Sure," I sighed. She clapped her hands and ran off to get one yelling for Jonah. Clara and Jonah are obsessed with Dr. Suess books, I swear that I have read Cat In The Hat sixty times.

I closed my eyes and smashed me head into my pillow, feeling relieved that I got Clara and Jonah asleep. My mom said that since I don't have the pleasure of going to school than I need to babysit those two while she did house work. I don't mind playing with them, but after forty-two minutes of hats and cats I start to go crazy.
It was only three o'clock and I feel like I could sleep until morning, so I decided to take a nap since I have nothing better to do. I feel into unconsciousness in about two minutes. I didn't really dream about anything, except the usually. Mia. I have been seeing Mia in my dreams since the summer.
At first it startled me to be dreaming about her and not Emma, but then I began to realize why. I was in love with her. When I first figured that out it was about two months ago. It took me a while to get up the courage to break the news to Emma. I didn't want to do it over phone, but sometimes I wish I had. I still remember her face when I told over dinner at The Olive Garden. It still haunts me and makes me feel like a jerk, but what else could I do? It would have been worse to keep leading her on.
"Liam get up!" My mom yelled, "Clara and Jonah are awake! Get up!" I moaned and rolled off the couch.
