Chapter 33: The Mistress

TP's POV

Night before the wedding, Lisa and Jennie are separated just like the Queens' orders. Jennie is busy taking a bath when someone knocks on the door. She's almost finished her bath though. The knocks continued. Jennie's starting to get pissed and finished her bath immediately. She dried herself and wrapped her bathrobe around her body, tied tightly and walked out of the bathroom to answer the door. She got startled when Jisoo abruptly walked inside her room. Her knee is already healed and her wound almost. Rosé follows.

"J-Jen.."

"Why? What's happening?" Jennie asked as she closed the door.

"I-Is it possible t-to bring me back to that life n-now?"

"Now? Right now?"

"Y-Yes. Right now."

Jennie looked at her then to Rosé. The girl looks nervous and couldn't say any word, just looking back and forth from Jennie and Jisoo.

"Unnie.. tomor— I know, Jen.. but please.. I think I have to."

Jennie watches as Jisoo walks back and forth while clasping her hands tight and looks really hysterical.

"What is happening? You know we can't leave.. not after the wedding."

"It can't wait! Jennie-yah! I have to leave!"

"Stop yelling at me, unnie."

"Your m-majesty.. I c-can bring h-her back."

"Why now? Unnie.."

"Jen, please.. I really have to. I would love.. to watch you walk down the aisle to meet Lisa tomorrow, you know that. But this.. t-this.. I c-can't.."

"What is happening!?" Jennie yelled.

Jisoo looks around for something sharp. She can't find anything but a fork. She grabbed it and hold it tight in front of Jennie.

"Y-Your m-majesty.. s-she's— "

"AH!" Jisoo screams in pain after stabbing her palm with the fork.

"Unnie! Why would you do that!?" Jennie scowled and looked at Jisoo intently.

Jisoo showed her palm to Jennie. The girl looked at her palm as it bleeds hard.

"It's bleeding! Why would you— No! Look closely, Jen!" Jisoo cuts her.

Jennie looked at Jisoo then to her hand. Jennie holds her hand and look at it. Her eyes slowly widen when she noticed some changes. Her hand is slowly healing.

"This! Jen, this is why I have to leave." Jisoo started to sound shaky. And so is her hand.

Jennie looks at Jisoo and covered her mouth after the wound healed on her palm. She looks at Rosé, who doesn't know what to do too.

"U-Unnie.."

"I d-don't know w-what to do, Jen." Jisoo sat on the bed and cries.

"I h-have to leave. For e-everyone's sake."

"U-Unnie.. please.. o-one more day— I can't wait for another day, Jen! Don't you understand that! I can't!"

"We can't leave like this. Tomorrow is my wedding. Lisa is waiting for this and I am too. You know that. P-Please.. j-just one more day and we're all gonna leave.. together." She said as she bent her knees before Jisoo and holds her hands.

"I don't know what might happen t-tomorrow, Jen. I d-don't wanna r-ruin everything. I am.. I-I am.. b-becoming her.." Jisoo cries.

"Hey.. y-you're strong. Y-You're stronger than her. Y-You can fight this, unnie."
