"Hey, newbie." From over your book you saw a stone-faced Rosa looming over you. "I need you to do me a favour."

"Well maybe if you don't call me a newbie. What?" She stood unmoving with one arm crossed tightly over the other

"I need you to do my paperwork for me." Knowing this was going to be a long conversation, you sat your mark in the book and placed it on the table where your lunch had just sat.

"Why? Do you not possess the ability to process your own arrests and to write your own reports?" Somehow her stern face managed to turn even more... neutral. "I know your deal Rosa, you play the intimidation role and then people do what you want. You're nice enough, but still you act scary and get what you want."

"You don't know me. I'm really not scary once you get to know me, I'm not trying to intimidate you either, I just need somebody to do my paperwork for me. I've got some little jobs to put through but me and Amy have caught wind of some serious shit going down near the docks."

"What?!" Rosa spun around to a cowering Boyle.

"I was just getting my lunch... foraged mushroom ravioli with a few absolutely gorgeous soft, sourdough slices and finally, to top it off, a delicious and super fresh sannakji."

"A what?"

"Sannakji..." He proudly held a large container he had just pulled from the shared fridge. "I picked it up from the market this morning, I had to get up at three just to be allowed in. It's octopus." You could swear the box wriggled from side to side as he held it. "Alive octopus."

"What do you mean it's alive?" Rosa finally showed some form of emotion, unfortunately it was clear disgust as she eyed the plastic from a safe distance.

"I mean, it's not... dead?" He carefully peeled the lid back and watched as a tentacle crept out and waved around the fresh air.

"Are you crazy? You can't keep that in the shared fridge, you shouldn't be eating it anyway!" He gently tapped the tentacle and sealed the box back up as it retreated inside.

"I'm going to my car. Besides, show me the rules about keeping live octopus in the fridge.

"I didn't think there would have to be a rule." Captain Holt stopped briefly at the door, disapprovingly glared at Charles and continued on his way with a shaking head. "I'm making the rule Boyle."
