Seeing Sam in a Shaggy costume and Castiel in a Scooby one was probably one of the funniest things you've ever experienced. It too at least 20 minutes for you and Dean to stop your howling laughter, followed by a ton of glares and confused looks from Castiel. Once you had regained as much of your composure as you could, the angel finally asked what you had planned for the evening.
"Well, Scoobs, since we're actually a little early for the movie, I think we should go out and take some photos. This is too good to not have any blackmai—- memories." You quickly corrected yourself, but while it was true you could probably hold this against Sam for a while, you still wanted some sort of proof that you had a happy halloween together.
"We're taking baby." Dean said triumphantly, swiping the keys off of the table and starting the walk towards the garage.
You ran forward to catch his hand, earning a small smirk and curious look from the eldest Winchester. You just smiled and shrugged, swinging both of your hands as you walked towards the Impala. Eventually, you were off, cruising down the road as some vaguely Halloween-themed rock song sounded from the speakers.
"Slow down, what about over there?" You leaned over and pointed to a relatively empty parking lot with a wall of shrubs decorated for the holiday.
"As you wish." Said Dean, carefully swerving into the parking lot and avoiding the parents walking with their kids.
Just as you were getting out and making sure that everyones costumes looked good enough for the camera, a mom carefully approached you, holding her shy daughter in her arms.
"Hi guys! My little girl here loves your costumes... we were wondering, could she take a quick photo with y'all?" Her southern drawl was charming, and you couldn't help but notice the small smile that her daughter was hiding from you.
"Of course! We're missing our Velma anyways." You smiled, noticing the uncomfortable and awkward smiles all three men behind you were displaying. "Come on, boys!" You clapped, and they all started walking towards the decorated shrubbery.
The mom set her daughter down and you knelt down to her level.
"What's your name, babe?"
"Molly." She squeaked, gripping onto her moms hand as the three of you started walking towards the three boys.
"Well, Molly, I hope you're having a good Halloween." You told her sincerely, stepping in front of the rest of the Mystery Gang before you turned around and faced Molly's mom.
After she had taken a couple photos, you asked if she could take some of just you, Dean, Sam, and Cas, and handed her your phone. She happily took the pictures of you four, goofy smiles plastered onto your faces and arms wrapped around each others shoulders.
Right before the two of them took off, Molly dashed back to you and engulfed your legs in a tiny hug, making you kneel down to her and giving her a proper embrace. You sent puppy-dog eyes back up to Dean and Molly's mom, both of who just chucked and smiled back down at you.
"That was uncharacteristically adorable." Sam laughed, wiggling around in his oversized green shirt.
"Yeah well, she was cute." You rolled your eyes and slugged him on the shoulder. You lagged behind a little as they walked back to the car, watching as Cas tugged on the fake collar Dean had made him wear for the photo. You couldn't help but feel eyes on your back, so you quickly turned around and surveyed the area.
"Hey, (y/n/n), what's up?" Dean called from halfway inside the car.
"Um... nothing, I'm good." You sped up, enjoying the way your boots sounded clinking across the asphalt.
