The next day, the gang was prepared for Olaf to come. But he didn't come. Or the day after that. Or the day after that. On the fifth day, the gang was ready to accept that maybe Olaf hadn't found the Baudelaires. The kids were happy. They sat in the track, which was a makeshift spot for an assembly. The Quagmires arrived and desperately tried to tell the others something, but the teachers behind them wouldn't allow it.
Vice Principal Nero introduced the new gym teacher, Coach Genghis. Wyatt, Francine, Pheonix, Jenny, and Bree turned to the Baudelaires in shock as they said the words "Count Olaf."
Right away, Wyatt stood up and yelled "That's Count Olaf!"
Francine stood up next to Wyatt. "Yeah, it is! I recognize his face from the posters!"
One by one, the kids stood up to claim that Coach Genghis was Count Olaf. Unfortunately, nobody believed them. They sat back down. Coach Genghis began making a speech no one was really paying attention to. They were too busy worrying about what Count Olaf would do to the Baudelaires.
"If you're an orphan, stand up." Coach Genghis instructed.
Slowly, the Baudelaires, Quagmires, Francine, and Olivia stood up. Count Olaf picked the Baudelaires for his special running program. The assembly ended and the gang gathered together in one of the school hallways.
"We need to start the plan now." Pheonix announced.
"But nobody believed us out there." Isadora told him. "Nobody ever believes anything kids say."
"And we always turn out to be right." Duncan added.
"Then we need to show them." Bree anounced. Everyone nodded.
"The one eyebrow." Klaus said.
"And the eye tattoo." Violet finished.
Everyone nodded and went seperate ways, in four groups. Violet, Duncan, and Sunny went to Vice Principal Nero's office. Klaus and Isadora went to find Count Olaf. Wyatt and Francine went to tell Olivia. Pheonix, Jenny, and Bree went to tell any teacher that would believe them.
Violet and Duncan talked on their way to Nero's.
"Thank you for helping us." Violet said to Duncan. "And for believing us."
Duncan shrugged. "It's no problem. It's what friends are for."
Violet blushed as Duncan smiled widely. Sunny sighed.
"Get a room."
When the trio finally arrived at Nero's office, he refused to see them.
"Please, it's about the new gym teacher!" Violet yelled through the door.
Nero still wouldn't answer.
"Do you think Olaf told him about us?" Duncan asked.
Violet nodded. "Most likely. Come on, let's go back."

While all this was happening, Klaus and Isadora walked around the school trying to find Olaf or any of his colleagues. They were looking for twenty minutes, but couldn't find anyone.
"You know, you and your sisters are really brave." Isadora told Klaus.
"Y-you think so?" Klaus asked, trying to stay calm.
"Yeah. I mean, you've dealt with him many times before and weren't scared. You survived hypnotism, a fire, a hurricane, venomous snakes, and you figured out a way for your sister to not marry Count Olaf."
