The group of nine walked down the streets. They had no idea where they were going, and they didn't care. Until it became very dark. Too dark to the point where they could barely see each other.
"Where are we going?" Wyatt asked. "Or are we just walking around not knowing where we're going?"
"We need to find VFD." Jenny announced. "They're obviously the reason all these things keep happening."
"I agree." Violet said. "But, where could we go?"
"Would a library have the information?" Isadora asked, looking to Klaus.
Klaus nodded. "It's worth a shot."

The group found a tunnel and slept under it. In the morning, Klaus, Isadora, Pheonix, and Francine entered the library while the others kept watch outside. They split up and tried to find anything they could about VFD.
"Aren't you kids supposed to be in school?" a librarian asked Pheonix and Klaus as they worked together in one aisle.
"Our teacher let us come here." Pheonix lied quickly.
The librarian simply nodded and walked away. Pheonix turned to Klaus.
"We should go. She'll figure out I'm lying soon."
Klaus and Pheonix quickly found the girls and left the library.
"What happened?" Duncan asked as they left the library.
"The librarian caught onto us." Francine told everyone.
"Did you find anything?" Jenny asked.
The group shook their heads.
"Not me." Isadora pulled out her notebook. "I wrote some things down."
The next hour consisted of the kids going through Isadora's notebook and deciding if what she found had anything had anything to do with VFD.
"What about that?" Francine offered, pointing to a spot in the notebook.
"It's a town called VFD. I was about to see what it meant, but we had to leave."
"It must be connected to the actual VFD." Wyatt said. "We have to go there."
The group silently agreed and found a map. Once they located the town on the map, they immediately started walking towards the town. Little did they know, one of their party would not leave the town.
