"Aaron. Please listen to me." I gripped his hand but he sighed and pulled his hand free. He stopped his car in front of the Hurdiss mansion.
"Aaron, making ka naman sa akin. Walang nangyari. Hindi ko alam kung bakit niya ito ginagawa."
Hindi siya sumagot, nanatili lang na mahigpit ang hawak niya sa manibela. "He's trying to tear us apart, Aaron." Hinawakan ko ang kamay niya. "Please don't let him succeed."
"Get out of my car, Cassidy," nanghihinang sambit niya.I tried to come closer but he blocked me with his arm. "Don't make this harder for both of us. Just get out of my car. Please." His voice was almost cracking and I swallowed a lump forming on my throat.
"Aaron, I love you," I said. Hopelessly wishing that saying those words would magically fix everything.
He punched the steering wheel repeatedly. "Get the hell out of the car or I'll have to drag you out."
Nahintakutang binuksan ko ang pintuan at lumabas. Nakatayo lang ako sa gilid ng kotse niya. Tinted ang salamin kaya hindi ko makita kung ano'ng ginagawa niya sa loob. Kinatok ko ito nang paulit-ulit.
Binaba niya ang windshield at matalim akong tinitigan.
"Nandidiri ako sa 'yo," anas niyang puno ng diin at poot.
My heart shattered in a million pieces. Nasasaktan ako na hindi ko man lang maipagtanggol 'yong sarili ko. Pero mas nasasaktan ako na ang baba pala ng tingin niya. Kahit nanginginig na 'yong mga tuhod ko ay nginitian ko parin siya.
"Drive safely."
Malamig na hinagod niya ako ng tingin."We're over."

"Ang tanga-tanga mo, alam mo 'yon?" Psyche snorted while pacing back and forth inside my room.
Malamyang nginitian ko lang siya. "Alam ko."
Kaaalis lang ni Alvido rito sa mansion, inaasikaso yata ang kompanya naming muntik nang bumagsak kundi niya lang ako ibinenta kay Aaron.
Isang linggo na simula no'ng makabalik kami ni Aaron sa Manila. Isang linggo na simula no'ng makipag-break siya.
He didn't try to contact me after that night. He completely cut ties with me.
"You look stupid sulking here. Let's drink!" Theia said and eyed me through the vanity mirror.
"Theia, ilang beses ko bang sasabihin sa 'yo, wala ako sa mood." Hinatak ko ang unan na katabi ko at mahigpit na niyakap ito.
Naalala ko na naman si Aaron. Kumain na kaya 'yon? Ano kayang ginagawa niya ngayon? Is he hurting too?
Fresh tears flowed down my cheeks. I harshly wiped it away.
"You've turned our offer down for five times already. Sure ka bang ikaw si Cassidy?" nakataas-kilay na tanong ni Psyche.
I rolled my eyes on them. "Lay off me. Mag-bar kayo kung gusto niyo." Nagtalukbong ako ng kumot pero hinatak nila. I groaned. I was mildly annoyed. "Ano ba, leave me alone!"
Theia frowned. "Since you went back, napapansin ko na naging temperamental ka na."
"Sensitive pa," commented a bored Psyche who was fiddling with my hairbrush.
I sighed. "Ibili niyo nalang ako ng isang sakong patatas, masaya na ako."
"Again?" Psyche glanced with a frown.
"What is it with you and potatoes? Simula nang bumalik ka, palaging 'yon ang pinapabili mo. No'ng isang araw nga raw sabi ng katulong pinabili mo raw siya ng sangkaterbang mashed potatoes!" Theia butted in.
"Potatoes make me happy," sagot ko.
Tinabihan ako ni Psyche at niyakap. "Stop sulking. Bar tonight. This time we won't take no for an answer."
Umiling ako pero naglabas na ng body-hugging dress si Theia mula sa closet ko at inilapag ito sa kama.
"You're going with us. Kung kinakailangang puwersahang isuot sa 'yo 'to, then gagawin namin."
"You're not serious!" nanlalaki ang mga matang bigkas ko.
"Masyado kang maganda para magmukmok," Psyche said before she pulled me up.
Hours later, the three of us were speeding along the road inside Psyche's BMW. She parked in front of Andromeda. We entered the bar and the loud music seems to be welcoming us.
A bouncer ushered us inside and Theia thanked him. We sat on different bar stools and they ordered their usual type of liquor.
"Don't tell me tititigan mo lang kami all night? Drink," sabi ni Psyche bago sumimsim ng alak. Nag-order si Theia ng alak para sa akin.
The bartender gave me my order and I stared at it for a while. "Iniinom 'yan, hindi tinititigan," Theia commented and I sighed.
I took the glass and sipped it. I spit it out. "It tastes bad!" naiinis na sabi ko.
Nagkunot noo sila. Psyche took my Martini and sipped. "It tastes normal, Cassie. 'Diba madalas mo nga 'tong in-o-order dati?" nagtatakang tanong niya.
I shook my head. "Hindi ko rin alam. Basta ayaw ko niyan! At puwede bang umuwi na tayo? Nahihilo na naman ako rito," mareklamong saad ko.
"Madalas ka nalang nahihilo, Cassidy," Theia pointed out.
Tapos nagtinginan silang dalawa ni Psyche. Then they dragged me inside the restroom and locked the door behind us.They fixed me with a penetrating stare.
Then after a while of defeaning silence, Theia broke the ice. "Are you pregnant?"
