"Let's get starteeeeeeed!" A squeaky voice yelled. We were all gathered around a raised platform, in which a tiny dude wearing a helmet stood. All kinds of men were gathered here. Tall, muscular ones, the ones who were just looking for a good time, and of course, a large group of Holy Knights. Including Howzer, the kind young man I had met beforehand. I noticed and recognized some of the Holy Knights, but right now we had a more important task; getting Gideon. "The rules of the game are simple in the extreme!!!" The tiny man continued, "Knock your opponents out of this ring! Push them, throw them, anything! As long as it's barehanded. The eight contestants standing will move to the finals."
All the participants climbed onto the raised platform. There were no women, which annoyed me, apart from myself and another young lady in a cloak. I'll have to watch out for her... we women must stick together.
"Without further ado, let the elimination round... Begin!"
Everyone immediately swarmed each other, pathetically trying to push the others out. Our lot sorta just stood in the middle, watching the whole thing, hands dug in our pockets. Seeing as I was a woman, men thought I might be weak, so I was attacked regularly. Haha, that's funny. One I dodged and kicked him square in the back, sending him tumbling across the platform and falling off it. Another sent a punch flying for my face, which I grabbed, twisted and threw him out of the ring.
"Not bad, buttercup," Ban said from behind me, battling his group of overly proud men. I smiled up to him. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw an obnoxious hairstyle. Howzer smirked at me, grabbing the dude that was charging towards him and throwing him off with ease. I did something similar.
I had to admit, proving men that they are very weak was fun, and hand to hand combat was dearly missed.
Some dude grabbed Melio from next to me, "I think it's time for kids like you to bow out,"
He, in turn, calmly gripped his arm and flung him into the air.
Ban yawned and fought off half a dozen men with one hand and his eyes closed.
King ran for his life given that he wasn't very good at hand to hand. He needed his weapon to truly thrive.
A fat old man came from behind me and looked me up and down. "What's a pretty lady like you doing in a festival like this?" I immediately punched him in the nose to which he fell unconscious to the ground.
"Hey, guys," Melio warned, "Try not to kill anyone"
"Duh," Both Ban and I said at the same time, looking at each other in surprise. Ban then saw a man wearing the red leather clothes he fancied so much and went to beat him up. Typical.
I looked around the arena whilst King scolded the captain for doing the festival for fun, to which the blonde argued that 'this was for Diane'. He really knew how to distract. He was totally having fun, the giantess probably at the very back of his mind.
I analysed the area whilst still fighting men lazily. The top ones seemed to be the Holy Knights, and us. As well as the other girl which made me smile. She was seriously kicking ass. Unlike our lot, she was going hardcore. And men kept shooting her dirty looks, which gave us one thing in common.
Ban soon came back with the new jacket that made him look very hot. I shook my head. I know that he was apologizing, and he was going to do it several times, but it's hard to mend a broken heart. He really has to prove himself. I want him to prove himself. That way I can cuddle him and kiss him and-
"Look at these two women go! Are you single? I'm sure loads of these men in the crowd would like a night with you." The commentator said.
Ban wrapped his arm protectively around me, which made everyone boo. Howzer shot me a sad look. I shook my head and rolled my eyes at Ban to which the purple-eyed man smiled a bit.
