(Y/N)'s POV //
Still waiting

Watching the other matches from afar didn't provide much entertainment. I couldn't hear much and I could barely see the tiny figures move around. The occasional cloud of dust and sparks from colliding weapons but I couldn't see the attacks themselves.

Ban and Melio won, to no one's surprise. Other than that, no one else had finished yet, so we wait.

I blew away a strand of hair that had fallen onto my face, my hand propping up my head inattentively.

At least I was recovering from Melascula. The more time went by, the more strength I had regained. And as my body became more accustomed to the new power, the more started seeping in. I had a feeling that in order to kill Zeldris and most of the commandments, I would need some help from the scrolls.

As I was thinking this, I was interrupted by a bright ray of sunlight, which didn't make sense considering it was dark.

I stood up, looking at the direction it came from. Along with the sudden blast of heat, no doubt it was Escanor.

"What is he doing?" Wondered Elizabeth from beside me.

I clicked my tongue, "No idea,"

I squinted my eyes so I could see better through the unecessarily bright light. There wasn't much that I could see except a faint outline of a very large buff man. The Lion Sin of Pride himself stood there basking in his glory.

Letting out an annoyed huff, since all I could do was watch him get stronger and stronger. "Hey, Elizabeth?" I asked, "Who was Escanor up against again?"

The blue-eyed girl widened her eyes, "I believe it was Gowther!"

I furrowed my eyebrows as Sun Boy grew his attack, getting ready to strike down his opponent. But why?

Realization struck me just as he threw his attack, but not at Gowther. The hot beam was aimed towards Gloxinia and Drole. When I saw that the power wasn't sent at its maximum potential, I got even more confused.

That's when I noticed the faint pink glow coming off of Escanor.

Gowther, the idiot, couldn't see that Escanor wasn't attacking him. So he paralyzed him. Therefore not letting Escanor us his attack at it-s full potential.

"That bastard!" Laughed Ban, loud enough so I could hear, "He attacked the ten commandments!"

I glanced over at the roasting bodies of the old Fairy King and the Giant king, then to the small blonde. Melio gave me a small nod, and I jumped off the suspended rock that served as an arena for us. Flying through the air, I rolled onto the floor as I landed, standing upright in front of the two commandments.
