𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 ‧ ban

₪ 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐞 ₪

Ban and I lay in my bed, his arm hanging over my bare shoulders. The morning light shined through the window.

"Mmm," I smiled, tracing pictures on his chest with the tip of my finger

Ban looked at me, his eyes happier than I've ever seen them.

"Don't think you're going to get out of this so easily. I will get my revenge," I laughed, pushing his face away.

"And I don't doubt for a second that you will,"

We both chuckled. My mind was spinning with possibilities, though. Sure, I knew he loved me. I really believed he did. But that doesn't dismiss the fact that he hurt me. The fox sin better watch his back.

"Hey, uh, (Y/N)?"

"Yeah?" 

"Promise me you won't forget that I love you, 'kay? Promise me,"

It caught me off guard and I nearly fell out of the bed. It was a lot. I mean- it shouldn't be that hard, right?

It was only fair. I tended to believe that people didn't love me. But did he?

If you knew what... those people did to me, you would understand why I had these trust issues. A little voice at the back of my head said, "You loved them, and they stabbed you right in the back. Do you trust Ban?"

Yes. Yes, I do.

He cared.

I knew he did. I smiled and kissed him, "I promise," I then got up, changing into my usual outfit, "Now I better get downstairs. After all, there's some Holy Knights we have to kill,"

"That's my girl,"

My legs almost collapsed then and there and blood rushed into my face. As soon as I shut the door behind me, I slapped myself.

"Get it together, idiota," I was stupid for not realizing he loved me. He did say the wrong name but, damn, I could really get used to this.

I trotted downstairs to see most of the gang up, "Morning!" I greeted

Meliodas looked at me, concerned, "You're up?"

"Uh, yeah?" I squinted at the blonde.

"Hold on... You're up, and happy. Elizabeth slept in our room... YOU SLEPT WITH-"

I covered his mouth before he could say anything else, it was too late, of course. The only person not in the room was Ban. 

"I guess I owe it to you all. Yes, Ban and I are back together. Now, if you excuse me, I am going to go make breakfast," I left the room and into the kitchen, where I slammed my head into the kitchen counter 

That's when Elizabeth walked in.

"Uh... Lady (Y/N)? Are you okay?" She asked. 

I immediately lifted my head of the counter, "Y- yeah! It's all good,"

"O- okay..."
